Freep of the World Cant Wait/Troops out now protest in Madison. They smelled like moonbats. Most of the pictures were of the lefties, but there is a picture of a ProtestWarrior holding a PW sign in it (It is me).

FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond have countered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center for over half a year.  Despite a breeze that made it feel cooler than the upper 40s temperatures, FReepers were out in force again.  Cindy Sheehan was on the Pinko side ever so briefly, but her usual press entourage was nowhere to be found. Thousands of protesters staged rallies on Wednesday across the United States against the policies of President George W. Bush, including the war in Iraq and response to Hurricane Katrina. The World Can't Wait organization, a coalition of groups formed recently to stage the rallies, used the anniversary of Bush's re-election to call for his resignation in protests that took place in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and Chicago. We did it. The CR's and I counterprotested the World Can't Wait rally. The World Cant Wait people had some sick signs, such as Bush=Nazi, Communism is good for the world, ANSWER signs, and a Code Pink sign. The CR's defended a recruiter office. WASHINGTON -- Cindy Sheehan and other peace activists plan to "die symbolically" for the next four days outside the White House to represent the American soldiers who have died in Iraq. "I'll be laying down and not getting up," Sheehan said Tuesday to a small crowd in which the number of journalists exceeded the number of protesters. Sheehan also said she would visit Arlington National Ceremony, Walter Reed Hospital and the Iraqi Embassy this week. "Two thousand families have been destroyed for nothing," Sheehan said. "Enough is enough. The killing has to stop sometime."
