Regarding the July 18 letter: “What if Zimmerman acted more like Christ?” Maybe he would mentor black children for free? Maybe he would protest the police’s lack of interest in prosecuting a guy that beat a homeless black man? Maybe he would look in on neighbors who had been terrorized by home invaders? Maybe he would volunteer to spend time watching out for his neighbors? I would like to add that those are all things George Zimmerman has done.
