Regarding the July 18 letter: “What if Zimmerman acted more like Christ?” Maybe he would mentor black children for free?
Maybe he would protest the police’s lack of interest in prosecuting a guy that beat a homeless black man?
Maybe he would look in on neighbors who had been terrorized by home invaders?
Maybe he would volunteer to spend time watching out for his neighbors?
I would like to add that those are all things George Zimmerman has done. I didn’t just make those questions up off of the top of my head.

Maybe Zimmerman is more like Moses, who killed someone who was doing wrong, when he was young, and then went on to set his people free much later in life.

George Zimmerman, an ordinary "white Hispanic" man of Peruvian and Jewish descent, is a decent human being. He mentors black children, stands up for homeless people who are beaten by cops, rescues families in car crashes, and defends himself when attacked.
You da man, George.
Zimmerman is a German name, and while many Germans Jews fled to the US as Hitler came to power, not all German immigrants were Jewish.
The Zimmermans in this case were Catholic.
I heard his dad was Jewish.

That was part of the Crump invention. By claiming Zimmerman was Jewish it helped stoke the anger of the black pampers and the Nation of Islam crowd.
Plus it diverted many people from noticing that Zimmerman’s mom is a quarter black and three quarters native Peruvian. Claiming he was of a very insular ethnicity made it seem less likely his father would have married a woman of another racial mix, and reinforced the Whitey meme.
So yes, you heard that, but it was no more true than the claim Trayvon was a little child instead of six foot two, or the claim that Trayvon had no history of violence.
What if Trayvon and all his family had acted like Christ?
Why don’t they just come out and say what they are intimating here? White victims of black criminals should just lay down and take whatever comes, sacrificing themselves like Christ. Yes, just let them kill you; that’s what they mean.
How about another angle on it - what if Trayvon had acted more like Christ and not went on a feral attack....
