During My second Semester of Chinese History 495 we were required to read from several texts, one of those being Revolution and Its Past : Identities and Change in Modern Chinese History. It was a well written book that centered its theme around the Chinese identity and how forces both within and outside of China have impacted it in the past century and a half.
