Vice President Mike Pence will attend the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, according to a source familiar. Gray Davis late Wednesday, movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger weighed his desire to be governor against the pitfalls of a recall candidacy, and Republicans worried that the man who is perhaps their strongest prospect for a recall candidate was getting cold feet.</p>

<p>All tenured, certified teachers who worked in Rapides Parish public schools last school year will be rehired, despite the School Board's budget decision to cut more than 100 teaching positions.</p> <p>School officials report that retirements and resignations opened up enough spaces to offer contracts to all those displaced teachers who have not yet been rehired.</p>
