We live in interesting times. The old media giants are just money-losing properties out of phase with a new arrangement in which networks, free and cable, are being replaced with streaming subscription packages. When Discovery found it had CNN on its hands, it tried to clean house because the cable news network is an unwanted drain. But an even bigger legacy name in news may be circling the drain. Think Cronkite and Rather. Equity analyst Steven Cahall of bank Wells Fargo gives Paramount Corp. another “1-2 years” of throwing “good money… after bad,” chasing a streaming profit that may never...

ABC’s “World News Tonight” and “CBS Evening News” on Thursday evening ignored the bombshell IRS whistleblower allegations that Hunter Biden received preferential treatment from the Justice Department (DOJ) regarding probes into tax violations. On Thursday morning, House Republicans released transcripts of two IRS whistleblowers, one of whom provided evidence that Joe Biden was present when Hunter Biden pressured a Chinese business partner to send them millions of dollars, Breitbart News reported. A second whistleblower also said the DOJ interfered in the effort to investigate Hunter Biden for tax crimes, although Joe Biden’s attorney general recently claimed otherwise.

The dirty series: FBI and FBI international, etc. (2020+) * At FBI on CBS, Zeeko Zaki, Egyptian born Arab Muslim. Originally his post at the series was supposed to be a Hispanic, but since when he got in, he has been trying to promote Islamism via his acting, Asides from portraying Muslims as victims, as a whole. * Since BLM-ism rise post George Floyd, there has been a push by BLMists activists (upon the major networks) to erase any black villains from TV shows. It expanded to put only Whites as villains. * Typical script - FBI (CBS), FBI International...

Over one-quarter of Republican voters – 27 percent – will not consider voting for Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis in the upcoming Republican presidential nomination race. Comparably, just 14 percent of Republican voters say they would not consider supporting Donald J. Trump. The data comes from CBS and YouGov, and sampled a hefty 2,480 U.S. adults between June 7-10th, with a 2.7 percent margin of error.Though considered by many to be Trump’s toughest opponent, Trump and DeSantis are almost as far apart from each other as DeSantis and Senator Tim Scott, who is polling third, 15 points behind DeSantis, with 42...

You probably could have predicted that Joe Biden would take a victory lap after the debt deal finally went through on Thursday. Indeed, I predicted earlier in the day how it would go when I was talking to a family member — Biden would claim what a great bipartisan achievement he’d shepherded while attacking the Republicans over Social Security and Medicare (saying he saved it for Americans). Then he would take no questions.Damn, if I wasn’t right on the money. Of course, it wasn’t anything special — it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to game out their plan. I’ve just...

In a stunning reversal from their prior blackout of the story, CBS News released an exclusive interview this week with an IRS whistleblower who is alleging that the Department of Justice intentionally stymied an investigation into potential tax law violations by Hunter Biden. The moment recalls memories of another famous incident of CBS suddenly turning on a Democrat president, when anchor Walter Cronkite broke with Lyndon B. Johnson’s stance on the Vietnam War, an incident that reportedly caused Johnson to remark, “If I’ve lost Cronkite, I’ve lost America.” That watershed moment came on February 27, 1968, in the midst of...

VIDEOSPOILER ALERT: I still have my $10.Remember the bygone era of the "Big Three" anchors in which almost everybody could easily rattle off the names of the major network anchors? Dan Rather of CBS, Tom Brokaw of NBC, and Peter Jennings of ABC? Well, as you can see in this video, those glory years for the network news are long over. To illustrate this, on April 29, 2023 I offered $10 to people I met at the Ft. Lauderdale Swap Shop to name for me all three anchors of those same networks.

The media love affair with the most suspicious person involved with the Left’s Jan. 6 hoax, Ray Epps, continues. On Sunday evening, 60 Minutes is planning to air a profile of Epps, a man whom they claim has been unjustly vilified in the conservative media. In doing so, they’re just calling new attention to the gaping holes in their Jan. 6 propaganda narrative. ... Over the intervening two years, the Left’s case has steadily unraveled, and one of the most glaring examples of its weakness has been the curious case of Epps .... Epps is the only person who was...

A blockbuster story, and kudos to CBS News for having the courage to break from the rest of the Leftist Media and actually report the IRS Whistleblower coming forward to say the Biden Administration is potentially obstructing justice to keep Hunter Biden from being charged with Tax Violations. This CBS News report even identifies Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland as the official who the Whistleblower is prepared to say has lied to Congress about this matter. . . .

Once the 2022 playoffs arrived, the Tony Romo critics reached a fever pitch. His on-air partner, Jim Nantz, recently pushed back. “I think there was a little bit of a misinformation attempt there to portray him in a not-so-favorable light,” Nantz said on the SI Media with Jimmy Traina podcast. “It was very disappointing. It really got, to me, more steam after the AFC Championship game, which was our last game. And for the life of me, I didn’t understand it. . . . Where was all this outcry during the season? It’s not like we were invisible.” He’s right....

Sea level rise has long been expected to be an ongoing and worsening problem for U.S. coasts, but scientists have found that some areas are experiencing "unprecedented" levels of rising seas, raising concerns about the fate of already vulnerable communities. A new study published in Nature Communications on Monday found that since 2010, sea level rise along the nation's Southeast and Gulf coasts has ramped up dramatically, hitting rates that are "unprecedented in at least 120 years." Since 2010, scientists from Tulane University have found that sea levels in those regions have increased by about half an inch every year....

Top executives at CBS News have banned staffers from using the word “transgender” when reporting on Nashville shooter — despite the fact police have said Audrey Hale was transgender and cited it as a key point in the case, The Post has learned. “The shooter’s gender identity has not been confirmed by CBS News,” the network’s executives insisted in a Tuesday memo obtained by The Post. “As such, we should avoid any mention of it as it has no known relevance to the crime. Should that change, we can and will revisit.” The CBS News directive was delivered on a...

The ABC, CBS and NBC evening news shows ignored a devastating new survey that completely upended the media gaslighting on how precarious President Joe Biden’s economy really is for Americans. Gallup released a new survey Feb. 8 of 1,011 adults living in all 50 states and the District of Columbia revealing that 50 percent of Americans are saying they’re “worse off” financially. As Gallup summarized, the results of the Jan. 2 - Jan. 22 poll were shocking. “Since Gallup first asked this question in 1976, it has been rare for half or more of Americans to say they are worse...

Fox News chief political analyst Brit Hume lambasted CBS News’ 60 Minutes for propping up the debunked babblings of overpopulation-obsessed climate fanatic Paul Ehrlich. Hume rebuked CBS as a network for having gone the way of the “woke mob” by breathing new life into Ehrlich’s propaganda during the Jan. 5 edition of Fox Business Tonight with anchor David Asman. “For them to put [Ehrlich] on — I mean — it isn’t David just that this guy‘s been wrong. He’s been famously, extravagantly wrong,” Hume critiqued.

CBS took a page out of the movie script from Ron Howard’s Inferno (2016) and gave airtime to the widely-debunked, overpopulation-obsessed Paul Ehrlich to stoke new conniptions over extinction. Ehrlich decried population “growth mania” during the New Year’s Day edition of CBS’s 60 Minutes. CBS News correspondent Scott Pelley arbitrarily praised Ehrlich’s doomsday-predicting chops: “At the age of 90, biologist Paul Ehrlich may have lived long enough to see some of his dire prophecies come true.” In his 1968 book Population Bomb, Ehrlich predicted a population-led climate oblivion in the 1970s that never materialized, an Armageddon scenario that he still...
