Helen Thomas....
The late Don Imus was reporting on the news item that Saddam Hussein had to have sex with his mistress the exact same way every time or he couldn’t do it. Hussein had to have Viagra (still rather new then) and always begin with a recording of Frank Sinatra singing Strangers in the Night.

Imus said: “I think we should cut the guy a break and find out about his mistress. Maybe he’s working with a woman who looks like Helen Thomas’s older sister.”

Interesting to watch the coverage of Gerald Ford (in a piece from Bob Schieffer) and even then you could tell from the tone that had Ford been a Democrat, the media’s portrayal would be that markedly different.
