Fidel Castro died as he lived: to the sound of useful idiots making allowances for his crimes. (That's not my term: It was Lenin who called liberal apologists for Communism "useful idiots.") The gold medal in the Useful Idiot Olympics should probably go to Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada. In a statement, he expressed his "deep sorrow" upon learning that "Cuba's longest serving president" had died. One can only imagine what George Orwell could do with that one word, "serving." Castro did not serve; he ruled a nation of servants, often cruelly, while making obscene profits for himself...

..... The real Cuba is that of the dissidents, such as Guillermo Fariñas, a psychologist and independent journalist, and Oscar Biscet, the heroic doctor on the island where there are more abortions than births. Half a million Cubans passed through the Gulag of Fidel Castro in Cuba. In comparison to the total population of the island that is eleven million, the Castro dictatorship boasted the highest per capita political incarceration rate in the world. Castro institutionalized torture against the “anti-socialist elements”. Not to mention the systematic repression, brutal and disproportionate with regard to the minimum of dissent. And to compensate...

On November 8th, Fidel was doing very poorly and was sounded disoriented. However, he was aware of the election in America between his friends, The Clintons, and the patriotic American-Donald Trump. El Comandante assumed that globalizing socialist was destined to become the next US president. And so he laid down with a happy smile on his face and went to sleep. The nursing staff took over and monitored his vital signs. His family went to the other room to watch the news of the US election. When the Castro sons realized that Donald Trump had won in America they threw...

Castro’s Socialism and Death Socialism is a disease that destroys everything around it. November 28, 2016 Daniel Greenfield Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam. In the fall of 1962, Fidel Castro urged his Soviet allies to wipe out the United States. The Butcher of Havana told Khrushchev to “to eliminate this danger forever”. By that he meant destroying the United States of America in a nuclear assault. “However harsh and terrible the solution, there would be no other,” he reasoned. The Soviet leader replied warning of a...

It was bound to happen sooner or later. Ever since his election as Canada’s prime minister last October, Justin Trudeau has revelled in global tributes, raves and swoons. He’s the Disney prince with the trippy dance moves, the groovy Haida tattoo and the gender-balanced cabinet. He’s the last best hope for globalization, the star attraction at the Pride Parades, the hero of the Paris Climate Summit, the guy everyone wants a selfie with. Trudeau made himself synonymous with Canada. He made Canada cool again. It was fun while it lasted. By the early hours of Saturday morning, Havana time, Trudeau...

As they do, the Cuban people must know that they have a friend and partner in the United States of America.”
