(AP) — Embattled Macomb County Prosecutor Carl Marlinga will not run for re-election in November, his office said Monday. A spokesman for Marlinga told WDIV-TV in Detroit there were a number of reasons for Marlinga's decision, but acknowledged the ongoing federal grand jury probe of Marlinga and his failed 2002 congressional campaign was one of them.
