All we heard last week was that the "Teabaggers" were guilty of "inciting violence." For instance, by her use of traditional political metaphorical language like "reload" and "targeted," Sarah Palin, the right-wing Moosiah, was sending clear signals to her rabid followers to literally hunt down progressives. And there were those stories about protesters shouting the "N"-word against Reps. Lewis and Cleaver--although audio of the alleged incident could detect no such shouts. Even so, all you heard last week was how the right wing had become dangerously unhinged and was turning violent. Well, now today, lo and behold, there is...

The man arrested in Philadelphia for a video death threat made against Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) did not limit his activity to the GOP minority whip. At his YouTube account, going by the name shiamuslimcantbestop, Leboon recorded hundreds of rambling, poorly-lit video threats against movie studios, politicians, religious figures and media pundits. I’ll be interested to see what conservatives do with the information that Leboon donated to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign — that decision aside, there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the threats Leboon would make, looking into a camera, as the self-appointed “messiah.” Leboon threatens...

(IsraelNN.com) More than 75 percent of Congressmen in the U.S.House of Representatives have signed a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressing support for Israel and demanding an end to the highly-publicized state of tensions with Israel. Signed by 327 Representatives, out of 435, the letter calls on Clinton and the Obama Administration to settle its disputes with Israel in a non-public and friendly fashion. The current tensions “will not advance the interests the U.S. and Israel share,” the letter states, as “above all, we must remain focused on the threat posed by the Iranian nuclear weapons program...

Staffers to a top House GOP member sought to clarify an earlier claim of political violence against him Friday after police determined that a bullet shot at his local campaign office was the result of random gunfire. Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Virginia, told reporters Thursday that a bullet had been shot through the window of his Richmond office - supposedly part of an escalating cycle of violence and threats in the wake of Sunday's sharply polarized health care reform vote. Richmond police later determined, however, that Cantor had not been targeted by political opponents. Instead, they concluded, the incident was a...

Could this be another ploy for campaign money by being outrageous from House of Representatives bomb-thrower Rep. Alan Grayson, R-Fla.? Since his tirade alleging Republicans want you to “die quickly” if you lack health insurance, the Florida congressman has made this his shtick — as it has shown to raise a lot of campaign money from the nutroots elements of the left across the country. ...more (w/video)...

Now it's Eric Cantor -- against health care reform and the target of a nut. Just like it was Bart Stupak -- for health care reform and the target of a lot of nuts. Nuts don't distinguish. So, I'm wondering, why should we? I want to make three things very clear, and I want to make them clear right now: One: Threatening to kill someone over a political issue is reprehensible. Two: Attaching an entire cause or group to someone who does is inexcusable. Three: Selectively cherry-picking those causes or groups to suit your own biases is unforgivable. What first...

Following is the police statement that I found on liberal sites, using it to say the shot was "random" as the AP did. While the shot may not have had much force after it penetrated the window, this PRELIMINARY police statement does NOT reach any conclusion the shot was fired at "random". At least one liberal site posting this report acknowledged Cantor has reported other threats aside from the bullet: "The Richmond Police Department is investigating an act of vandalism at the Reagan Building, 25 E. Main St., Richmond, Virginia. A first floor window was struck by a bullet at...

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Richmond police say the bullet that hit a window of Republican Virginia Congressman Eric Cantor's office had been randomly fired skyward. Amid reports of threats and vandalism against Democrats who voted Sunday for sweeping health care reforms, Cantor said at a Washington news conference Thursday that a bullet was fired into his Richmond office. In a news release, Richmond police said that the bullet had been fired into the air early Tuesday.

Can you actually believe this crud? Okay, I get it Democrats, you don't like Republicans because they oppose your social ideology - so just have your leftist media promote violence against them?.. Are you really showing your true colors (SEIU purple?) as the progressive and tolerant political party which you claim to be ?

There is a new game in Washington DC that already feels rather old. Democrats and Media-Democrats accuse Republicans of stoking hatred and bigotry, all in an effort to prevent Americans from exercising their Constitutional right to petition and assemble. In doing so the Democrats are showing their utter disdain for the American people and our rights as citizens. Let me be clear: violence has no place in American politics. However, no Republican or Conservative is calling for violence. It is illegal to call for violence. The fact is that most Americans are angry about the recent expansion of government. However,...

An angry Eric Cantor stepped up the microphone today to talk about the bullet was shot through the window of his Richmond, Va., campaign office on Monday , and that he's gotten threatening emails. "I've received threats since I assumed elected office, not only because of my positions, but because I am Jewish," Cantor said.[As House Republican whip, Cantor is the highest elected Jewish politician in the country.] "I've never blamed anyone in this body for that. Period. Any suggestion that a leader in this body that would incite threats or acts against other members is akin to saying that...
