An angry Eric Cantor stepped up the microphone today to talk about the bullet was shot through the window of his Richmond, Va., campaign office on Monday , and that he's gotten threatening emails.
"I've received threats since I assumed elected office, not only because of my positions, but because I am Jewish," Cantor said.[As House Republican whip, Cantor is the highest elected Jewish politician in the country.] "I've never blamed anyone in this body for that. Period. Any suggestion that a leader in this body that would incite threats or acts against other members is akin to saying that i would endanger myself, my wife or my children."
"I will not release them because I believe such actions will only encourage more to be sent," he said.

Good for him. Reichstag Fire II on it’s way according to some of the more conspiratorially minded Freepers. Some violence done by or fomented by the left to discredit . . . Americans. Otherwise known as Tea Party protesters.

History proves overwhelmingly that when they apprehend one of these guys they are not conservatives. Time and again, there’s a big deal made of damage done to an office or threats of violence and when they’re caught, you guessed, liberal left winger.
OTOH, the threats received by conservative in office go on every day and are usually very obscene.
Methinks they are making too much of this for it to be the real McCoy!

These are good words. Let's see what happens.
If the incitements to violence continue, it's all going to ratchet up. The Republicans are stepping on the brakes but I feel like the Democrats have been stomping the accelerator.
Truth be told, I think the country may be like a Toyota -- and the bridge abutment is coming up fast.

Leftists have clearly been agitating for violence for decades.
Gotta deal with them like the bullies they've been - typical cowards who'll back down when finally confronted.
We must confront them.

I see it more like a car jacking where the owner of the car calls the thief’s bluff: “You want trouble??? You want to steal from a driver that has less and less to lose??!! Sit there and ya might want to buckle up right there, mr. carjacker, sir! Let’s go for a ride!!!

Most of the campus ‘hate crime’ incidents turn out to be blacks doing it themselves to get attention. Same thing here. Good example is the ‘spitting’ and N word story that MSM jumped on that the video showed was b.s.
Voters are going to make Dems pay at the poll. All of this threat business is a stunt to get public sympathy and attempt to marginalize middle America. Liberal elites are scared that average people will have a voice and this is a strategy to quiet them.

Fear is the THUGs greatest tool, so do not expect the Left and their henchmen to curtail their effort any time soon.
In fact, I fully expect that some Union like SEIU to make some show of force to remind us all who is really now in charge. You know it was the Union Leader who was just quoted as threatening the “persuasion of power” in order to obtain their cherished objectives.
Gee I wonder why this is not playing now on a continuous loop in the Media?
The real threat to our Republic is now and always has been the “Free Press”.

"I've received threats since I assumed elected office, not only because of my positions, but because I am Jewish," Cantor said. Yep. Libs/Dems hate whom they considered "traitors to the party/cause" more than anything else. And conservative Jews and blacks top that list.

Leftists have clearly been agitating for violence for decades.Yes, they have and one of them IS the President of the United States.
'SNIPERS WANTED' CBS late-night show 'threatens' Bush's lifeNever any outrage over that. The left encourages violence and excuses it for their ends.
Milwaukee Men Accused of Slashing Republican Vehicles' TiresLawmaker's Son Charged in Tire-Slashing Sowande Omokunde, son of Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Wis., and Michael Pratt, the son of former Milwaukee acting mayor Marvin Pratt, were charged with criminal damage to property, a felony that carries a maximum punishment of 3 1/2 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Alec Baldwin and Bill ClintonPeople are surprised that a supporter of President Clinton would suggest -- no, urge -- that House Judiciary Committee Chairman Henry Hyde be stoned to death and his family killed.
That's what actor Alec Baldwin reportedly said on a recent airing of "Late Night with Conan O'Brien."
No 'reportedly' about it. He said it in a spittle-flecked rage on Conan's nationally broadcast TV show. Not one word of outrage from a Dem politician or talking head.

Its about time that the House Republicans and the Senate Republicans trult start to understand their enemies, who BTW are not their colleagues of "cogovernenace. The Dems are no longer dems. They are matuionalist socialists bent on useing theelegislative process agaionst itself in order toe conquer the USA in the name of a fascist Utopia. Others call the "stateists" I prefer Jonah Goldberg's name, "Liberal Fascists" They have soft tyranny with violent tyranny lurking just beneath their supposedly clever cover. This smear campaign against tea partiers, is a fascist tactic meant to reduce TP power in the November election. It will backfire on the Dems , or cause increased political vilolence. Fascists always want increased violence, it allows them to declare nartial law and nullify democracy. This smear campaign is designed to crank up the violence, so that a crisis can be created which can be solved to benefit these fascists.
These fascists liberals do not fool me or most conservatives. Read it today:

*************************
This morning Congressman Mike Pence admonished those who use any threats as an excuse to Bash the Tea Party Movement.
...that is no excuse for bigotry, threats or acts of vandalism and I condemn such things in the strongest possible terms. People who engage in such acts undermine our cause and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
But I also rise to condemn the efforts to smear millions of law abiding Americans who oppose ObamaCare by associating them and their principled opposition with these criminal acts.
The American people have every right to oppose this government takeover of health care without being lumped in with bigots and vandals by liberals in Congress and in the mainstream press.
I say to my countrymen:
End the threats.
End the vandalism.
And lets also end the smears of law-abiding citizens exercising their first amendment right to speech and peaceable assembly."
( Or else what? C7 comment.)
