So we've all seen the news about the tariff situation between America and Canada. Trump is threatening Canada with 25% tariffs, meanwhile Justin Trudeau is threatening this: -- snip -- Needless to say, it's an interesting time to be a North American. But now we've got some photos from a photographer up in Ontario, Canada, that are being interpreted as a sort of analogy of this U.S., Canada "trade war": A Canadian goose takes on a bald eagle. Let's take a look: First, the goose thinks it has a chance (which it technically does):

BEND, Ore. -- It was a time of mourning for a few dozen people who gathered at Bend's Drake Park Thursday evening for a memorial to honor 109 Canada geese that were euthanized last week. Those in attendance expressed their feelings, observed a moment of silence for their surviving companions and families, and discussed ideas of how to prevent this from happening again. Organizers arranged the memorial event with the intention of "bonding together to promote proven methods of non-lethal methods of goose control."

Oakland has a poop problem. The city, like others nationwide, is home to thousands of Canada geese, which have found the region's temperate climate and lush parks make it a wonderful place to spend the year. At some points during the year, as many as 2,000 Canada geese might be found at Lake Merritt, basking in the sun and gorging themselves on the bread and other treats offered by park goers. Farmington Hills parks worker accused of shooting goose 4/12/2005, 6:09 a.m. ET The Associated Press FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (AP) — A municipal parks and recreation employee has been suspended with pay on suspicion of shooting a Canada goose after the aggressive bird harassed him. The unidentified worker used a .32 caliber handgun to shoot the goose Saturday at Farmington Hills Golf Club and Driving Range, said City Manager Steve Brock. Golfers notified authorities after hearing gunshots off the third hole. The worker, who has not been charged, has been interviewed by his supervisors and police, Brock told The Detroit News....

Customers of a south side print shop beware of the hissing goose. For the second year in a row, a Canada goose has made the front door area of Artcraft Inc., her home. Mother Goose, as she's called, greets customers by hissing at them. Last year, she hatched a gosling just a few feet from the front door. She has already made a nest this year. "I had one customer call from a cell phone and ask if she would bite," said Judi Williams, the company's office manager. "She hisses, but she doesn't bite. Otherwise, everybody thinks she's pretty cool."...
