I am at the point where I am somewhat prayerfully looking a getting should have a camcorder (though I am still without a cell phone which some can be controlled by). But while I have narrowed down the candidates to 5 (plus a Action Camera in case that would be viable). I am looking for one with the best sharp resolution (color quality is not that important) which would be used outsides as well as in, but I have little idea what the specs mean. I have a low-cost JVC HM50, a Flip HD Video Ultra, and a DXG-125 High Definition Digital Camcorders. All serve their intended purpose well considering their relatively low cost. I need to get a new digital camcorder for use in filming underwater subjects. I have been told that the Sony TRV 950 is an excellent choice. I have been told that it is more user friendly than the VX 2000 or the Canon equivalent.
