SHREVEPORT, La. -- Two judges from northwestern Louisiana face racketeering charges for allegedly taking bribes, according to a federal indictment made public Thursday. State District Judge Michael Walker, 57, of Shreveport is accused of taking cash or goods in exchange for reducing bonds, making himself available to quickly set bonds and taking other actions helping criminal suspects or people held for probation violations get out of jail.
