Depends on your definition of “mass shooting”. If you include gang killings with multiple people then yes blacks do it to.

Shut up Hastert. Sec 6 of article 1 of the constitution states "The Senators and Representatives shall receive a compensation for their services, to be ascertained by law, and paid out of the treasury of the United States. They shall in all cases, except treason, FELONY and breach of the peace, be privileged from arrest during their attendance at the session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any speech or debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other place.".
Somehow I think taking a $100,000 bribe is a felony or at least a breach of the peace. Also this section does NOT include the offices of congress, only the members. Assuming the files are printed on paper provided by the government the member of congress does not own them.

Some of it yes, but not all. The bombing of Dresden and the fire bombing of Tokyo and both nuclear detonations should have been war crimes. All targeted civilians rather then military targets. its one thing to aim for a military target, or what you think is a military target, then miss and kill civilians. Quite another thing to aim from the start to kill civilians.

  • US Envoy Warns Of Iraq Civil War

All the envoy said was that a civil war could still happen. Thats been true since the invasion. Think about it, the controlling sect which was a vast minority was thrown out without any hope of regaining its power. A power it had held on to through violence. Of course a civil war would be a likely possibility in that kind of situation. And until everyone agrees and supports a government it will remain a possibility. But they have yet to go into a full civil war. And if the Iraqi army performs as it did in the recent violence in future incidents civil war will become less and less of a possibility.

Wolf Blitzer seemed to get it today on "situation room". Even gave the foreign affairs guy from the UAE time to tell how his country helped with gulf war 1, kosovo, war on terror and the such. Of course then he had to allow that jackass cafferty to chime in. Gotta love a side that can only argue with lies.

hell if I was the UAE and the deal got blocked I would say "since you don't trust us to work in your ports we're not going to trust you in our ports" and pull the U.S customs people who inspect cargo at the UAE ports.

"At the end of the day, we should not risk being perceived as forgiving or rewarding the people who played a role in the slaughter of 3,000 of our countrymen."

So why then do we support Germany? Everything people have accused the UAE of in regards to 9/11 has been done by Germany as well. Yet Lufansa flies airplanes into this country every day hundreds of times. The planes are not searched before or after arrival, neither are the crews. The air force does not meet planes prior to landing to check papers.

"There is a difference between Great Britain and the UAE, many differences in fact, and we should not be instructed otherwise."

here's a difference. Not one of the 9/11 hijackers grew up and became radical within the UAE. Not one! The only one who was born in the UAE became radical in Germany. Yet in britain 4 men grew up and became radical within the country and then blew themselves up in July.

"that a Zogby poll taken in October of 2005 found that over 70 percent of those in the UAE have an unfavorable opinion of the United States? Are such opinions the fuel that drove the UAE's policies toward al Qaeda prior to 9/11? That is not something that can be asked about Great Britain.'

Pure racism. 80% of people in the UAE are not truely citizens, which is a very good arguement against a full democratic government (imagine if people from Iran could just flood the country to vote), but rather are expats from other countries. And what policies did the UAE have towards Al-Qaeda? None, they helped our counterterrorism before 9/11, ask richard clarke. They wanted to play the Taliban off of Iran because they hate Iran. The UAE has more literate women then men, they have more female college students then male. Media is not officially censored but rather censors themselves. Despite freedom house in 1997 an article was printed that criticized the president. Was the author taken away and executed? No. Did the author get tortured? No. Was the author even arrested? No. Was the news company fined? no. Rather the only punishment was an admonishment of the company by the government, something that happens here all the time.

speaking about propaganda. Interesting fact about the UAE. They censor internet access in the country. But there is only 2 things they censor, porn sites and...drum roll.....sites dedicated to radical islam. Imagine that. We are trying to keep out a country that keeps out access to jihadist sites on the internet.

  • The Hidden Idiocy Behind the Port Deal

    02/26/2006 8:12:53 PM PST · 15 of 79
    zaggs to Cornpone

God, not this crap again. Ok time to look at the tap point by point.

    1) Which is the greater threat. The place where someone is born or the place where they start thinking its a good thing to kill innocent people. I go with the second. Shehhi didn't start becoming radical until he was living and studying in Germany. It was in Germany that Shehhi started getting serious with people like Atta (pg 162 9/11 report). So it was not the enviroment of the UAE that made him into an innocent killing terrorist.

    2) Several of the 9/11 hijackers (4)lived together in Germany. Money was funnelled to them through German banks. Planning and flight training for some of the hijackers went on in Germany. Yet Luftansa is allowed to fly into airports all over the country several times a day without a mention.

    3) Supporting the Taliban provided an external threat against "iranian dangers" (pg 139 9/11 report). Also the UAE picked our relationship with them over theirs with the Taliban and tried to get the Taliban to turn over Bin Laden.

    4) The UAE has the 3rd largest GDP in the Arab world. Not to mention they're near the opening of the persian gulf. The government has never been linked nor accusing of weapon transfers.

    5) The DHS concerns were addressed by the "secret agreement" with DPW. Also of DPW's 9 top people on its management team 4 are Americans (including 1 ex naval officer). Odds are a P&O person will make it to that group after the take over.

    6) same as 5. DHS's concerns were raised and answered voluntarily by a company that has taken on restictions other companies do not have.

    7) They're too close? WTF does that matter? Bush is going to be an accomplise in an attack? Snow became treasruy secretary BEFORE CSX was taken over. Former CSX management people are on the DPW management team. That would give Snow great access to the internal workings of DPW.

"They played us like a violin, didn't they? Either the port deal is utterly HUGE, or the amount of information they plan to gather will be utterly incredible.

Years ago, a friend of mine was in the CIA. He told me that in foreign countries you would routinely get arrested for taking photographs of port operations. Now we put entire port operations in the charge of foreign governments."

First off even if Congress somehow stopped the U.S port takeover it would not end the deal. The deal is not just 6 U.S ports, dumbass. Its ports around the world. Well if some countries arrest you for taking pictures of port operations then what of a country that lets our own people into their ports to inspect cargo before its loaded onto ships? Thats exactly what the UAE does. Also they weren't in the running for P&O when the made the Katrina contribution. Hell I doubt 100 million is alot of money for them.

Don't bother. The MSM and everyone else running against it has the UAE putting their own people in security at the ports by their own standard. Both of which are crap. This is bigotry pure and simple. Not only that its a setback for us trying to strenghthen ties with the more moderate forces of Islam like the UAE (why do you think Bush is so strong against voiding the deal). London was bombed by people from England so having an english company is no safer. The government of the UAE doesn't support terrorism. Even the Clinton administration held they were serious about counter terrorism. And quite franly if you're going to deliver a bomb by ship why pay 6.8 BILLION when you can maybe pay 6 million to get a few cruise missles from Russia or France, load them onto a freighter, get it within a few hundred miles of the coast and launch away? This plays right into Al-Qaeda's hands.
