For discussion. I have wondered if the Espionage Act covers ex Presidents in regard to their Presidential Records. In my opinion there may be a serious argument that they may not be governed by the Esionage Act based on the following… 1) prior to the implementation of the Presidential Records Act (PRA passed in 1978 implemented in 1981), ex Presidents routinely took possession of their Presidential records. (From National Archives website “Prior to the Presidential Records Act of 1978, which first applied to President Reagan, all of the official records of the White House were considered the personal property of...

Bernell Trammell, 59, was a black man who was well-known for holding political and religious signs outside his store. He ran “Expressions Journal,” a small publication where he also made large signs he was known to carry. He was known by many neighbors as a peaceful man, unafraid to make his voice heard with the words on his large signs, and now his voice will no longer be heard. Milwaukee police are still searching for the murderer. This petition is to ensure the person responsible for this is found and sent to jail.

Just a point for discussion. If a Federal law is passed to raise the age to 21 as a requirement to buy or own a firearm, shouldn’t the age requirement to join the military be raised to 21 also ??? How can we justify asking 18, 19 & 20 year olds to fight and possibly die for our country when we deny them on of the basic rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights ?

What significant TAX DEDUCTIONS did you, Bill or the foundation board instruct your accountants NOT to take ??? Given that the issue of Trump's tax deductions (business losses) is likely to come up again this weekend, I would love to see this question asked of Clinton. Unless she and the foundation can prove that they instruct their accountants to NOT take significant tax deductions for which they are eligible, then she shouldn't be against Trump or his businesses taking legal, applicable deductions also.

In the gloom of this holy Christmas night, a cold sleet fell. It was not a night for man nor beast but yet here they were. Huddled upon the banks of this frigid river, 2000 men contemplated their bleak fate. The past few months had gone very, very badly. Their hopes had been crushed time and again. The noble experiment in Liberty which had begun with such promise, had by this time deteriorated to the point where every day was a battle just to survive. Defeat after defeat, at places like Long Island, Harlem Heights, Fort Washington and White Plains...

State officials and local fire companies have safely removed a bear from near Exit 8 of the New Jersey Turnpike. "It looks like it was a nice operation coordinated between the [Division of Fish, Game and Wildlife] folks and the fire departments," said Sgt. Stephen Jones, adding that Cranbury and Hightstown were on the scene. "It's been tranquilized and removed by the fire departments, brought down in a ladder truck bucket and transported to a cage brought by the Fish and Game folks," he continued. From there, he said, the 250-pound bear will probably be released in a wooded area....

In the spring of 1864, Federal and Confederate Armies began a savage campaign for control of Atlanta, Georgia. Beginning in May, a series of battles and skirmishes took place which lasted through the summer and stretched from the Tennessee line to the outskirts of Atlanta itself, which was captured by Federal forces on September 2, 1864. Casualties for both armies were staggering. In total, nearly 9000 men were killed, over 41,000 wounded and 17, 000 missing or captured. On May 27, 1864 Federals under command of General Oliver O. Howard attacked Confederate troops entrenched near Pickett’s Mill, Georgia. Fighting left...

Cat proves size doesn't always matter in his neck of the woods. To his neighbors, he's a loner, a sometimes-friendly, sometimes- surly senior who spends his days wandering through the woods. He is particular about his yard. Strang ers are not always welcomed. But last week, Jack the cat be came a hero when he chased a black bear out of his neighbors' yard and up a tree. Twice. Last Sunday afternoon Suzanne Giovanetti was reading at the kitchen table when her husband Dean cried out from the TV room at the back of the house: A black bear had...

The buzz began in the chow line. "Did you hear?" asked one relic hunter. "Yeah. A Mississippi plate," said another. "Absolutely perfect." The proud new owner of the Confederate belt plate embossed with an eagle held out his treasure on his dirt-caked palm.
