All the gold in Fort Knox is recorded as to weight and purity. Individual vaults are opened and catalogued periodically. The gold is there, no reputable source claims otherwise. Conspiracy theorists love the idea that it is gone but it is not a rational scenario.

What a waste of taxpayer money. There is absolutely zero evidence that gold is missing from Fort Knox, there is zero evidence any of it has been leased or encumbered. This is another silly conspiracy theory which will end up costing taxpayers millions of dollars to debunk.

Trump is not going to ruin NYC by cutting significant funding. Trump owns or is partners in many NYC properties. If he destroys NY, he destroys the value of several flagship properties in his portfolio.

That would be the right way to do it, which pretty much guarantees that it won’t be done at this time. We’ll chase our tails hoping for a landmark Supreme Court decision which won’t happen and which was already partially addressed in United States v. Wong Kim Ark (1898).

Too many forget that the 14th Amendment did not just make slaves citizens, it also made citizens of the thousands of native born children of Irish, German and others who had immigrated to the US during the Civil War years. Previous to the early 1890’s anybody could come here with no questions asked and they became defacto citizens. During the Civil War, no differentiation was made between natural born soldiers or foreign born soldiers in the Union Army when the election of 1864 took place.

It was not until the massive immigration waves of the late 1880’s that immigrants became subject to scrutiny. Part of the Wong Kim Ark supportive argument was that ending birthright citizenship would affect hundreds of thousands of European immigrants children who had been born here.

Clinton did not lease gold at Fort Knox.

It is illegal to lease any of the gold in the Federal Repository at Fort Knox. That gold is wholly owned by the U.S. Treasury. About 5% of total US Treasury gold holdings are available for other uses and these assets are at the Federal Reserve Bank in NYC who acts as an agent for the treasury. Every month a report is released by the treasury listing all gold reserves, their location and their status. It is publicly available information. Missing or leased gold at Fort Knox is an urban myth/conspiracy theory….and not a very plausible one at that.

Nothing goes into or out of the Fort Knox repository without a lot of people knowing about it. No one person even has the complete combination to the repository vault (I think it is something like 11 different individuals each know a portion of the combination and all need to be present in order to open access to the vault).

The gold is there, it is partially inventoried regularly including weights and purity tests. Only a complete audit has not been done in a long time and it is estimated it would take several months to a year to complete.

Several people who visited or served with Washington during the war described his voice as higher pitched. His voice and vocal inflection may have lowered as he got older.

I hate to break it to you but that interpretation could easily be construed as election interference because what you wrote infers he was asking to invalidate only enough votes against him to give him the lead Asking instead to invalidate all questionable votes either for or against would not be seeking an unfair advantage but it also means he still could have lost in the end.

Federal employees nationwide make about 15-20% less than their private sector counterparts in similar professional positions. Some of the lower Federal GS & Wage grades do make more but those are generally filled by contractors now.

In the last year Venezuela has threatened to use their military to seize oil rich lands in next door Guyana that the Venezuela regime claims as their own. Guyana has oil reserves three times larger than Saudi Arabia, which only recently have begun to develop commercially and the oil is primarily high quality light sweet crude.

That is a FR myth that keeps recirculating. The IMF does not rank countries by corruption. The organization that does that is Transparency International. It currently ranks Ukraine at 105 out of 180 (180 being the most corrupt, 0 being the least corrupt).

Russia is ranked 154 out of 180, far more corrupt than Ukraine. The three most corrupt countries in the world according to TI’s ranking are Venezuela, Somalia and South Sudan which is totally believable.

Ukraine has been ranked the second most corrupt country in Europe, right behind Russia which has consistently held the Number 1 position for decades.

Reagan fired Air Traffic Controllers because they went on an illegal strike (Federal employees are one of the few classifications of workers who legally are not allowed to strike).

You can’t fire someone for taking sick leave since they earned that leave and it is part of their pay. And if you did fire them, who do you propose would perform their work ??? We are already short of qualified controllers, more are retiring every week and it takes years of training and experience to work that kind of job in a high traffic region. 99% of people could not do that job.

There are still 500+ applicants for every student opening. 99% of students and parents don’t care about something as ridiculous as this class and it’s instructor.

Democrats flipped 13 seats in the Virginia House of Delegates from Republican to Democrat, they flipped 2 Special Statewide Commission Seats in Georgia fro R to D, they won numerous County and local races in Republican areas of NJ. Independents broke to the Democrats by an average of 15 points.
