I’m self employed and uninsured. When comparing notes with friends I often find my paying cash cost is less than their copay and deductible. I dread being forced into medicare.

It’s completely ridiculous how out of control and over complex the entire system has become.

Culture is the cause and the cure. It’s just that most people don’t want to zip their pants and grow up. Both sexes are immature and prefer their vices over the virtues of family life. Most won’t figure it out until they are too old to raise a family.

The first step is to stop telling kids in school that kids are a burden. The second step is a universal basic income tax deduction of 100K and a 20K per child tax deduction.

Of course, government would have to go on a severe spending diet. That’s very unlikely with the current grifters.

What’s really going to happen is the declining population will be replaced with AI and robots.

Hospitals will still pass the cost onto others by increased charges like they do for any unpaid bills. This does not endanger rural hospitals.

What it does is save us a crap ton of medicaid money currently being spent on routine medical care for illegals. They’ll just have to pay cash at urgent care or get charities to pony up for them.

Or go back to their home countries.
