Elon Musk escalates Trump feud — vowing to back Rep. Thomas Massie, one of the prez’s biggest rivals

Elon Musk escalated his feud with President Trump, announcing that he would be backing one of the commander in chief’s biggest foes in congress, Rep. Thomas Massie — the libertarian-leaning House lawmaker who Trump has vowed to see defeated in the midterm election.

Musk signaled he would donate to the Kentucky Republican’s 2026 reelection campaign on X when he responded “Me” to a post asking who would be backing Massie’s congressional bid.

Trump, meanwhile, had pledged to support whichever candidate runs in the primary against Massie, who the president lambasted as a “loser” and “Third Rate Congressman” in an online tirade last week.

Massie, 54, has been vocally opposed to the One Big Beautiful Bill, which is Trump’s sweeping domestic policy bill, and has slammed the US strikes on Iran as unconstitutional.

The Kentucky Republican additionally teamed up with Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) on a bipartisan war powers resolution to stop the US from getting involved in the Israel-Iran conflict.

I’m glad Trump is now looking to deport Musk. I just hope he does the right thing.

Massie may be better off without Musk’s support.

The fact that the two of them are doing this in public isn’t helping either of them.

Elon is a political novice. Backing Massie is indicative of that as Trump really doesn't care about Massie.

And a third party for Elon, good luck with that, 0% chance of success and Elon brags he doesn't do things that aren't at least 50-50.e

Thomas Massie has acted completely like an idiot. And is still being foolish to this moment.

That said, there is such a clear and distinct difference between Massie’s record and a GOP Establishment operative like Thom Tillis.

Massie produces a ton of legislation that we like, and gets involved all the time with things that both the GOP Establishment despise and the democrats despise.

Massie is a personal enemy of Trump, but is otherwise a great member of congress, the kind we need more of.

Massie is the only guy this year who put forth both for abolishing the federal reserve and abolishing the department of education. Tillis did no such thing.

Massie is not a “rival” of Trump.
Massie backed Trump all the way.
Massie’s not happy about the massive new $5 Trillion deficit, neither am I.
Should Massie be reelected?
Yup.
