If the unfortunate possibility of a McCain nomination comes to pass, I will not work for his election to the presidency, nor will I defend him in ad hoc conversations. He is wholly unworthy for that high office, and it is intolerable for my conscience to abide supporting him. I haven't checked out the two above forums in a while, and when I did last night, there seemed to be alot of talk, especially on calguns.net, about AR-15's now being legal in CA due to a court case called Harrott. Does anyone have any specifics on this, especially the chronology of events?

Something the other day caused the memory of last June's mock impeachment hearing to pop to the front of my head, and made me think "why not turn the tables?" Why not stage a full-blown treason trial to lay out, point-by-point in a single event, how liberals (especially those in power) are providing aide in comfort to the enemy? Charges against those that provide actual goods, such as Code Pink's furnishment of money to terrorists in Iraq, would likely be far easier to prove than propoganda (ie John Murtha).
