Security forces at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (JBSA) returned fire early Saturday on at least one drive-by suspect who is accused of firing upon the main gate at the JBSA-Chapman Training Annex, a JBSA spokesperson tells Fox News Digital. The officers were fired upon at around 4:30 a.m. by at least one suspect in a sedan and immediately returned fire. There were no injuries reported, and the gate was shut for a number of hours.

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't saying no to taking on Sen. Barbara Boxer for her U.S. Senate seat, according to a report in SFGate.com. Asked by a San Francisco Chronicle reporter at a recent Commonwealth Club of California appearance whether he ruled out a U.S. Senate run, the former action star said, “I have my hands full with all the stuff I’m doing now,” he said, referring to his ongoing budget crisis. “I’m concentrating on that and not what I’m going to do next. An Audit Bureau of Circulation report to be issued Monday is expected to show that magazines across the board suffered from poor newsstand sales in the first half of 2008.
