The last early release of supposed non-violent inmates resulted in a 17 year old girl from Los Feliz being kidnapped and murdered, her body dumped in skid row by a drug junkie who was released early and kidnapped the girl to get drug money out of her ATM.

Instead of releasing 40,000 inmates, California should release one judge.

I wonder what the statistics are on non-violent offenders who go in and then come out violent offenders. I would guess it is pretty high. Not really an easy answer either.

As Investors Business Daily reported in March 2005:

"The U.S. Justice Department estimated that 270,000 illegal immigrants served jail time nationally in 2003. Of those, 108,000 were in California. Some estimates show illegals now make up half of California's prison population, creating a massive criminal subculture that strains state budgets and creates a nightmare for local police forces.

So, at least 20,000 illegals will be released back into the general population. Way to go, California.

I say give them all a Swine Flu and Avian Flu shot before release.

Of course, by that, I mean the virus, not the vaccine. . . . (evil grin)

The government has for years wailed and whined that there was no way they could find out where all the illegals were to deport them. Well, they just admitted they knew exactly where at least 270,000 were. What was keeping them from loading them on buses to the border and dumping them on the south side of the Rio Grande?

Were I running the California Prison system I'd be contracting busses to run right into the towns where these Judges live.

I'f fill every seat with 'non-violent' offendors and run them right straight into the center of these Judges towns and then release them.

I'd instruct the guards to wish them all the very best of luck.

Political prisoners no doubt left over from the Bush Admin.

Now bama needs room for the victims of his “snitch on your neighbor campaign” .

Instead of releasing 40,000 inmates, California should release one judge.

it is "Federal" not state judges that are doing this.

It is high time that when releasing such inmates they are put on a bus and dropped off in the neighborhood of the federal judges that made the decisions. At least that way the judge might wonder about his family's safety with such a release.

It is clear they don't care about the general safety of the public. We need to start holding judges more accountable for their actions that endanger the community.
