The Justice Department is ramping up its plans to revoke the citizenship of immigrants who’ve committed crimes or pose a national security risk, according to a recent memo underscoring the Trump administration’s hardline immigration agenda. Efforts to identity and go after those suspected of cheating to get their citizenship are not new to this administration. But the public push is raising concerns from advocates, who have accused the administration of trying to use immigration enforcement for political purposes. It’s receiving increased scrutiny after a Republican member of Congress suggested that Zohran Mamdani, the New York City Democratic mayoral candidate, should...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis escalated his attacks against Randy Fine on Wednesday, blaming the representative-elect’s “unique problems” for a special election victory he said should have been won by a higher margin. Appearing at a press conference in Ocala, Florida, the day after the election, DeSantis argued that President Donald Trump’s involvement in the 6th District race pushed Fine over the line. He added voters had not wanted to support Fine, who Trump had endorsed, and that the president “really had to bail him out in the end.”

Well, it appears the WNBA and Indiana Fever star was a fan of the post from Swift because she liked it on Instagram. You can see a screenshot of Clark's like below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com. Now, some people might want to read into this and make it a huge deal. It shouldn't be. Clark is free to support any politician or like any social media post that she wants. Will this now being very public stir some controversy? Sure, but it shouldn't. Caitlin Clark isn't parading around cheering for Kamala Harris to be President. She...

Donald Trump has cast doubt over whether as U.S. president he would defend Taiwan if China were to invade the self-governed island Beijing views as part of its territory. "Taiwan is 9,500 miles away," the former president told Bloomberg, "it's 68 miles away from China." China's long-ruling Communist Party claims Taiwan as its own but has never ruled there since coming to power in Beijing in 1949. Taipei rejects its neighbor's assertions. The GOP nominee for the U.S. presidential election appeared to suggest that Taiwan should pay the U.S. for protection, telling the outlet: "I don't think we're any different...

LSU star Angel Reese called a suggestion from first lady Jill Biden that they might invite both LSU and Iowa's women's basketball teams to the White House "A JOKE" on Monday. Speaking on Monday, Biden congratulated both teams on their performance in Sunday's national championship game, as well as specifically highlighting Iowa's sportsmanship. "Last night I attended the NCAA women's basketball championship," said Biden, while speaking at an event at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. We will invite the winner to the White House, we always do. So, we hope LSU will come but, you know, I'm going to...

Ice Cube is confirming The Hollywood Reporter’s story about the star losing an opportunity to make $9 million because he wouldn’t get a COVID-19 vaccine. In the newest episode of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast this week, Ice Cube revealed that his refusal to get vaccinated forced him to turn down an acting gig. “I turned down a movie because I didn’t wanna get the motherfucking jab,” he shared. “I turned down $9 million because I didn’t want to get the jab. Fuck that jab, and fuck y’all for trying to make me get it. I don’t know...

The majority of Americans do not think President Joe Biden or former President Donald Trump should run for reelection, according to polling released Tuesday. Forty-eight percent of voters in a Politico/Morning Consult survey say that Trump should definitely not run again in 2024, while a further 13 percent say he should probably not run. Meanwhile, 46% of voters say that Biden should definitely not run, while 18% say he probably should not run. The survey, which was conducted from July 8-10, comes in the wake of increasing discussion about the electability and popularity of the two presidents. According to recent...

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Several prominent conservative groups are getting involved in Pennsylvania’s race for U.S. Senate and backing candidate Kathy Barnette as an alternative to Mehmet Oz, the celebrity heart surgeon endorsed by former President Donald Trump. The anti-tax Club for Growth endorsed Barnette on Wednesday and has begun airing TV ads on her behalf. That follows the anti-abortion Susan B. Anthony List’s decision on Tuesday to back Barnette over Oz. “Kathy is a courageous advocate for life who exposes the human cost of abortion,” Marjorie Dannenfelser, the president of Susan B. Anthony List, said in a statement. It’s...

Deborah Birx, a leading member of the Trump administration’s White House coronavirus task force, said on Sunday the U.S. should be prepared for another potential COVID-19 surge after a recent uptick in infections in South Africa. “Each of these surges are about four to six months apart. That tells me that natural immunity wanes enough in the general population after four to six months that a significant surge is going to occur again. And this is what we have to be prepared for in this country,” she added. Birx specifically warned Americans should be “preparing right now for a potential...

Former President Donald Trump said "everybody wanted" to get a COVID-19 vaccine when he was president and blamed vaccine mandates for low vaccine uptake among some segments of the population — even though millions of his supporters have refused to get vaccinated. Trump, who falsely claimed vaccines cause autism in children as a presidential candidate, touted the development of COVID-19 vaccines while he was president. "I think what we do get great credit for that they tried but it didn't work — even their side said you can't do that — is Operation Warp Speed," Trump said in an interview...

Legendary investor Charlie Munger, speaking with Yahoo Finance Editor-in-Chief Andy Serwer in an exclusive interview, spoke bluntly about vaccine hesitancy in the U.S. “I have been appalled by the fear of vaccination by a big chunk of the nation,” the Berkshire Hathaway vice chairman said when asked about the COVID-19 pandemic. “Speaking for myself, I couldn’t wait to be vaccinated. And I think the risks of being vaccinated are way less than the risk of not being vaccinated." According to the CDC, there’s a minuscule 0.002% chance of the vaccine causing death while approximately 5 people per one million vaccinated...

Meet Donald Trump, the constitutional scholar. The twice-impeached former president is claiming that the bipartisan effort to reform the Electoral Count Act of 1887 proves that ex-Vice President Mike Pence had the legal right to overturn the results of the 2020 election that Trump lost. “If the Vice President (Mike Pence) had “absolutely no right” to change the Presidential Election results in the Senate ... how come the Democrats and RINO Republicans are desperately trying to pass legislation that will not allow the Vice President to change the results of the election?” Trump asked. Without providing any facts or legal...

The jury is still out in the U.S. on how to deal with Americans who are unwilling to get vaccinated, but European countries are increasingly choosing the stick over the carrot as governments across the continent turn to hardline methods from lockdowns to fines in order to coax the unvaccinated to take the jab. The message: get vaccinated, or don’t participate in society.

A man, who calls himself the "vaccine police," entered a Walmart in Springfield, Missouri to put staff "on public notice," telling pharmacists they could be "executed" if they carry out COVID-19 vaccine shots, according to reports. The man identified as Christopher Key, an anti-vaxxer from Alabama, live-streamed the confrontation on Facebook last week, on August 16, according to the Springfield News-Leader. The video shows Key and a handful of supporters praying in the parking lot of the supercenter before entering. During the prayer, a person could be heard saying: "Thank you, Lord Jesus, for waking up Springfield" and "help us...

A nurse in Germany is reportedly suspected of injecting thousands of patients with a fake coronavirus vaccine, prompting authorities to urge more than 8,000 people to get an additional shot. Authorities suspect an unnamed Red Cross nurse injected about 8,600 patients in Friesland in northern Germany with saline solution in early spring, a time where a majority of patients receiving their vaccines were among the elderly population, Reuters reported. Local councilor Sven Ambrosy said he is "totally shocked by this episode."

Trying to understand a riot is never easy, especially when it's still raging. The rolling unrest tearing through multiple American cities is many things. But it's not simple. The horrific slow death of a black man at the hands of an impassive white police officer was just the match that lit a building fury. The police statement — which described a suspect "under the influence" who suffered "medical distress", with no mention of the police officer pinning him down — didn't help. Neither did the four-day delay in bringing charges against the officer. And the President's tweet that "when the...

The Lincoln Project, an Anti-Trump group led by George Conway, a Washington, D.C., lawyer who is a frequent Trump critic and married to White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, has released an ad criticizing President Trump's response to the coronavirus pandemic. The 60-second ad titled "Mourning in America" plays off former President Reagan's 1984 ad titled "Morning in America," which the Lincoln Project said highlighted the "positive impact" under Reagan's first term in the White House. The Lincoln Project's ad instead paints a more pessimistic picture of the state of the country nearing the end of Trump's first term. "There's mourning...

Two state attorneys general ordered a prominent televangelist to stop peddling an alleged coronavirus elixir on his show. Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Jim Bakker for misrepresentations about the effectiveness of "Silver Solution" as a treatment for coronavirus. Schmitt's lawsuit came a week after the office of New York Attorney General Letitia James sent a cease-and-desist order to Bakker, ordering him to stop promoting the supplement as a COVID-19 treatment.
