Two state attorneys general ordered a prominent televangelist to stop peddling an alleged coronavirus elixir on his show.
Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Jim Bakker for misrepresentations about the effectiveness of "Silver Solution" as a treatment for coronavirus. Schmitt's lawsuit came a week after the office of New York Attorney General Letitia James sent a cease-and-desist order to Bakker, ordering him to stop promoting the supplement as a COVID-19 treatment.

The PTL Club Jim Bakker, Jim and Tammy LOL
I used to love watching Jim and Tammy Faye. They were a hoot as long as you didn’t take them seriesly.
Snake Oil salesmen everywhere.
Lord! He is still around shearing the sheep.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
...........................2 Peter 2:22
Remember when Tammy cried on TV and her makeup would run down her face ?
“Please give whatever you can to stop Tammy from crying”
Impressive longevity.
80 years old and still living the good life.
When did he move from Carolina to Branson MO?
Yup. It looked like some kind of Saturday Night Live skit.
I guess all youse hard-hearted FReepers don’t care that Jim’s dawg needs a new air conditioning unit for his dawg house.
Lots of evidence that colloidal silver DOES kill viruses on contact.

One guy who discusses it with reasonable evidence.
Bakker may be pushing a bad version for internal use, but electrolytically derived colloidal silver is effective.
Silver treated socks are used for post surgical infection prevention. Worked for me.
Like a lot of things it’s being touted for applications that it’s marginal for, but the attorneys haven’t got a clue what those are. And most modern MDs don’t either because they were not taught about it.
The NIH paper is maybe a little more authoritative, but nobody who understands the biology of it denies that it’s ineffective:

Bakker is at most guilty of overpromotion.
Lord! He is still around shearing the sheep.
Hell, Charlie Manson still has fans, aka, a cult here in Californicator land.
Joe Biden is another example: “Man with Dead Brain winning primaries!”
er, “that its ineffective” s/b “that it’s effective”
AND the screwy dude has another scam.
Between him and Earnest Angley..or whatever his name is, I dont know who was/is worse.
The whole bunch are flim flam artists.
Colloidal silver is a scam. Silver solutions are used externally for burn treatment. One wouldnt take colloidal mercury just because some quack said to
When we lived near Akron, my wife worked in the schools as a speech and hearing teacher. The kids who stopped by Ernie’s place on the weekend would come in on Monday without their hearing aids and but still be deaf.

My idiot brother in law was guzzling that stuff when he had pneumonia (instead of going to a doctor) and almost died.
Great most some more non medical sources for us
This is almost as bad for you internally as taking colloidal mercury. Silver is a heavy metal. Solutions of silver are used EXTERNALLY in severe burn cases
That point is addressed and debunked as well. It’s a matter of concentration and dosage.
One medical paper was posted, and it supports much of the “non medical” assertions. Do you disagree with NIH?
