Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis escalated his attacks against Randy Fine on Wednesday, blaming the representative-elect’s “unique problems” for a special election victory he said should have been won by a higher margin.
Appearing at a press conference in Ocala, Florida, the day after the election, DeSantis argued that President Donald Trump’s involvement in the 6th District race pushed Fine over the line. He added voters had not wanted to support Fine, who Trump had endorsed, and that the president “really had to bail him out in the end.”

I heard fine was pretty bad. Let’s hope someone better emerges for the primary.
I don’t know anything about this but he won
Desanctimonious comes to mind
Politico is trying to muster dissention and unrest between Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump. Remember what their prime directive and categorical imperative is and remains so.
Some 80% bullfeathers.
Odious. It’s one thing for people to make excuses for dead Gazan babies, he actually cheers for it.
Posted yesterday that RNC chairman Michael Whatley needs to resign. Nationally - not enough inspired candidates are being “groomed” and supported and too many districts are either being considered too “in the bag” and districts that are tilted Dem but could very well swing, no fight is being put up at all.
A PA special election seat was lost a few weeks ago in a district that went Republican since 1889.
Susan Crawford won her court seat by huge margin in WI yesterday.
What is conservative movement and Repub party going to do without Trump at the helm? 🙄He shouldn’t even be focused on elections right now, he is leading the country!
Politico hates DeSantis.. that’d a factor in choosing which comments to push forward.
Republican Party needs to shape up. Trump can’t bail GOP out everytime. Look what happened in WI yesterday.
put Lara Trump back in
And Whoever was in charge of Preventing vote fraud in 2024,Double their salary and give them a whole team
Fine won his race by fifteen points.
The other Florida Republican Congressional candidate last night won their race by fifteen points.
What am I missing here?
I think it is relatively easy for a DA, that actually prosecutes, to keep his job. That seems to be the easiest thing in the world to do politically.
Exactly
The GOP got their very own Nadler?
>> What am I missing here?
“Waltz won by 30” armchair quarterbacking, bitching and naysaying.
Fine is a fair weather sailor who is a RINO, the minute the weather gets cloudy...he turns to the democrats.
Fine is a goner....will be primaried out.
The other candidate was also in a +30 Republican district.
I am trying to figure out why one candidate is a target for criticism and the other is not.
I know nothing about either of them.
Lara bailed after Trump won POTUS ... numerous house and senate seats were lost because of it ...
Gaza’s babies will just be Gaza’s terrorists in the year 2035. The overwhelming majority of the October 10 7th murder/rapists were little toddlers back in 2006. Wouldn’t have been nice if someone would’ve bombed them back then? A lot of hapless Israeli women probably wish they would’ve been blown up in the crib.
I’m one of the Volusia County Rs who voted for Fine. I do have concerns about him, but due to lack of knowledge on certain issues.
I voted for Waltz ONCE. Wouldn’t vote for him again. We called him “The Representative of NATO.” Unlimited Ukraine support, including big $$$. And he voted to renew FISA with ZERO changes!!! Serious wtf there, on both.
I was very happy Trump picked him off the friken House Intel Committee. Good riddance!!! Less damage now. I honestly am not surprised at all that he’s showing signs of being a mole. He’s not to be trusted. Waltz is in it for Waltz, always and forever. I truly think he’s got his eye on King of NATO or some other high paying globalist position for the future.
Fine is a bomb thrower for sure, but I like it these days. He is vehemently pro-Israel and anti-Jihadis, and freely calls out the muslim problems worldwide. Which is Fine with me. Remains to be seen how he stands against the globalists behind endless wars and zero privacy. Guess we’ll find out.
He made a statement last nite, something on the lines of thanking President Trump and ‘I won’t let you down’. That’s all I personally need to hear.
