Unfortunately, from all accounts, it sounds like nobody had a chance to defend themselves. Even if somebody was carrying a weapon, there still would have been dead people since he came out of the elevator firing his gun. But, we’ll hear from all of the gun control morons how more laws would have stopped this senseless shooting. It’s just a damn shame...

I agree. I was a teacher and if some of those teachers had a gun, I would have been scared for my life. Trust me on this, for those of you who haven’t been in the schools since you were in high school. I’ve argued with my father-in-law over this, but he hasn’t been in a classroom for over 40 years and as we all know, times are a little different. Many are ultra-liberal and they’d be like Nathan Lane in “The Birdcage” for those of you who’ve seen that movie. Now, I’d be in favor for principals and security to have a gun, but not teachers. I’ve been in a classroom with teachers who have lost it and having a gun would not be a pretty picture. I’m sure I’ll get hammered by some of you, but no way should teachers have a gun in their classroom.

When I read this article, my first thought was, “Gotta be Ernie Chambers.” Yep, I was right. I lived in Omaha for 4 years and he’s the Jesse Jackson of Nebraska. He represents the northeast portion of Omaha, which is all African-American, for the PC Freepers, and “black” for the rest of the Freepers. He lives for this and does this all the time, so this is par for the course. By the way, the most poverty ridden African-Americans in the U.S. are in Omaha. Way to go Ernie!!! No, what I was saying was that they uncovered the plot and they weren't going to blow airplanes up today. I was just answering the question posted to me. The person didn't ask if they uncovered the plot months ago. They asked whether it was going to be implemented today.
