The problem with socialism is that the least productive people in society make the greatest claim on the collective wealth of that society.
Capitalism allows each individual to have the greatest claim on their own productivity, and whatever excess can be pooled and distributed to the less productive as well. That’s how nations become wealthy.
On the other hand, the “something for nothing” mentality propagated by the media and elites, believes that everybody is a con artist ripping off everybody else — because they have no idea what it means to be productive and a contributing member of a society. They think that anybody who isn’t taking as much as possible (free) from everybody else is a fool — and must be told what to chant in their protests and riots to demand even more than their fair share.
But without personal responsibility, discipline, and regard for fair exchange, everybody ultimately ends up on the streets with nothing — but their incessant demands on the productive and responsible in any society.
Not surprising, the drones of the media and celebrity world. are pushing their way to the front of the line while deriding and disparaging the real and legitimate creators of wealth. Capitalism is the accumulation of wealth for a future when it can be enjoyed; socialism allows no such reserve, and so the populace are doomed to a hand-to-mouth existence because the reserve is always raided by those who place themselves at the head of the line for every distribution.
