As anyone in the entertainment industry will tell you, it is a miracle that any film actually gets made. From the moment a writer sits down with an idea to the first time the movie actually graces the screen, a film has passed through the care of so many people, so many unique personalities and competing visions and interests, that even the simplest film is a defiance of the odds.To Save a Life is not a simple film.
  • Vanity: Health Care Proponent and Pro-Abortion Activist? Hypocritical!

How is it that all of these uber-liberal types who are completely in support of "My Body, My Choice" abortion are fighting tooth and nail for nationalized health care? If this health care bill passes, those same people will lose all power to make decisions about their bodies or their health. It goes against what they claim to have been fighting for all these years: the freedom to choose what they do with their own bodies, without government infringing upon that right. It's just plain hypocritical.

The Tulsa Tea Party was a great success today! Arriving at Veteran's Park I found a nice sized crowd already gathered and raring to go 15 minutes prior to the start time! (Way to go, Tulsa!) The crowd quickly grew to somewhere between 300-400, according to various news reports. I can't tell you how great it was to see people pouring in carrying signs and displaying their patriotism. Conservatives tend to be - well - Conservative in their fervor for public protesting, so these numbers indicate a great sense of unrest and dissatisfaction with what is happening in Washington. KRMG...

The KRMG Morning News Blog Tulsa Tea Party - This Friday at Veteran's Park By Joe Kelley, Host of the KRMG Morning News Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity were the first to throw the flag on President Barack Obama's economic stimulus plans. But in mainstream cable TV, it was CNBC's Rick Santelli who inspired most conservative Americans to say, "Yeah, that's what I was thinking!" A national movement has been launched to show opposition to the bailout of banks and irresponsible homeowners. From the Official Chicago Tea Party: Enough is enough. It's time to protest out of control government. Please...

A man who became trapped beneath his sofa for two days said he survived by sipping from a bottle of whisky. Joe Galliott, 65, lost his bearings during a power cut at his home in Yeovil, Somerset, and fell against the three-seater which toppled onto him. Because of back problems, he was unable to free his 19-stone frame and remained stuck for 60 hours until a neighbour spotted him through the curtains. He said a bottle of whisky, which had rolled within reach, kept him going. "The whole settee tipped over catching me like a rat in a trap," he...

I have searched CNN.com for any article detailing the story about Obama's intentions to bankrupt the coal industry. As of right now, I cannot find one story on their website. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me. We need to freep them to get the story out. They know it will ruin Obama in the swing states, so they are (once again) editing the news to suit their political leanings.

ATLANTA, Georgia (AP) -- When brothers Alex and Stephen Kendrick were looking for inspiration for their third feature-length film, they turned to God for help. Kirk Cameron, known best for his role on "Growing Pains," stars in in the movie as Caleb Holt. "To be honest, I prayed about it," Alex Kendrick said. "I said, 'God, would you give me an idea that will impact all of our culture.' In the light of Acorn's admission of voter fraud, and the reported inability to verify these thousands of newly registered, reregistered and reregistered voters (alive, dead, human and otherwise)...I'd like to propose a tactic which may make it more difficult to vote "early and often" on election day.

I got an email from a friend of mine who lives in Monument, CO. She says there is an "Obama Channel" 24-7 on her cable network. I have posted the email below. Can anyone confirm this? Email follows:"Pass this on. I kid you not, I turned on the tv this morning and there is an Obama tv network. Channel 73 here in Monument, CO. Yes, its' true. Nothing but Barack indoctrinating anyone 24/7 who wants to sit and listen. People, listen. Sadaam Hussein had media networks when he was in power and I believe Adolf Hitler had the same thing,...

If you have not already done your part, get on the phones! I called a girlfriend of mine and asked if she had voted yet. She said she wasn't sure she would, because she hadn't done enough research to know how to vote...which leads me to my next suggestion:Be ready with information, links, voting records etc. I am sure there are a good number of people out there who do not inhale the news like those of us on FR, and feel unprepared. Give them the info and encouragement they need to go vote today!

By BO-MI LIMAssociated Press Writer SEOUL, South Korea A discredited South Korean cloning scientist admitted in court Tuesday to ordering subordinates to falsify stem cell data for a paper in a scientific journal, but he denied violating a bioethics law. Hwang Woo-suk, who falsely claimed breakthroughs in creating stem cells from cloned human embryos, testified at the second hearing of a trial in which he is accused of accepting funds under false pretenses, embezzlement and violating the bioethics law by purchasing eggs for research. A new flick draws Evangelicals by replaying a watershed moment in their history Related: Mission to the Aucas Photo Essay: A Mission to Forgive By now it is a given in the movie industry that it’s possible to prosper at the box office if you can capture the evangelical ticket-buyer. But there are different ways to go about it. The Passion of the Christ, for instance, was marketed to evangelical leaders and had an overarching message—an unflinching focus on Christ’s Atonement—that spoke to the center of evangelical belief. In The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe the Christian symbolism was...

H2>Christian Studio Explains Hiring of Gay Actor The makers of End of the Spear didn't find out about co-star Chad Allen's homosexuality until after they offered him the job, and then they felt obliged to honor the contract. Chad Allen, who plays Nate Saint (one of the martyred missionaries) and the grown-up Steve Saint (Nate's son), is an outspoken homosexual actor who has...
