I got an email from a friend of mine who lives in Monument, CO. She says there is an "Obama Channel" 24-7 on her cable network. I have posted the email below. Can anyone confirm this? Email follows:
"Pass this on. I kid you not, I turned on the tv this morning and there is an Obama tv network. Channel 73 here in Monument, CO. Yes, its' true. Nothing but Barack indoctrinating anyone 24/7 who wants to sit and listen.
People, listen. Sadaam Hussein had media networks when he was in power and I believe Adolf Hitler had the same thing, thought mostly through radio. I thought he was over the top when he replaced the American Flag with a red white and blue version of a flag about himself on his jet. I guess this just tops it."
The scoop is that 0bama purchased a channel on DISH TV. It is running a two-minute loop about him. It’s nationwide, and not limited to any state, swing or not.
This crap aint funny anymore, its like serious.
Honestly if we get that for President, man the lifeboats, every man for himself, this guy will be a dictator.
Tell your friend to switch to DirectTV instead so she can get the NFL package (which is AWESOME!!!) and better programming. It will also get rid of the Obama nonsense from her TV. But it won’t reduce the number of shopping channels....
How is it funded?
Is it really unusual, is there a McCain channel like it?
We need some context before we invest emotionally or rhetorically on every tid bit of news. You only get a limited time to convince the politically ignorant, so we should make sure we don't bring up dumb stuff.
It simply seems that the Obama Campaign bought commercial time on Dish TV. That’s it.
Yes, there will be only two channels. One with non-stop Obama, droning on about his great dreams and achievements.
The other will star Katie Couric as the new “Baghdad Bob”.
All other channels will be forced off the air.
It’s running in Texas and I am so pi$$ed!!!
This is serious and the gloves must come off. I tried to call dish network because we have them, but could not get through.
I am prepared to drop them!!!!
Maybe its like PBS - in effect a 24hr/day Obama channel - unwittingly publically funded by nitwit taxpayers.
Well, that’s on my “must watch” list, right along with CBS, CNN, MSNBC, etc.
