I’m sure that there will be a 2nd impeachment as well as a 3rd. If the D’s continue to hold on to the House,the impeachments will continue. If they win the next congressional election for the House, they’ll consider it a “mandate” to continue with it.

President Trump knows what he is doing here. This isn’t a “law” question or a “policy” question, but a public relations and promotion issue, and no one knows more than Trump on how to “get over” with the public and to put the best light on this.

Remember that Trump is a master of reality TV, which is the most rehearsed thing on the tube, and Trump got more ratings with The Apprentice than anyone would think. He got more “pay per view” buys than anyone ever did in the field of Sports Entertainment, with his wrestlemania appearance.

Leading people along, getting them excited about it, and then giving them what they want in The Apprentice or the Battle of the Billionaires isn’t much different than this phony impeachment trial. Just a different stage and a different audience.

Considering the crisis the town is in, he either needs to resign the mayorship and allow someone who can devote full time to the job- or quit his campaign and head back home himself to show leadership.

Sort of sleazy to trash one’s own father after he’s been deceased for more than a decade.

However, if someone could find a letter in Dr. Braunstein’s records or effects actually verifying this alleged favor, this could be interesting. Sort of like a Killian Letter version 2.0

There is a lot less money in marijuana taxes that the Illinois government and other like minded politicians pretend.

It will cost a ton of money to police counterfeit tax stamps and other untaxed grass. The higher the taxes are, the more motivation for gangsters to smuggle or grow their own product in, rob warehouses, factories, fields, etc.

The windfall that Colorado received was caused by Marijuana tourism. Its not going to be repeated, just like when most states legalized casino gambling.

If Illinois or any other state wants to legalize grass, it should be done on its own merits, the money just isn’t there.

A pretty smart move on the part of Vice President Biden.

Biden seems to be ideal for a “Front Porch” campaign in the tradition of McKinley and Harding where he stays home and goes out every day to give a speech on his porch. People can travel to see him instead of vice versa.

The President already knows exactly what’s in the soon-to-be declassified documents. Further he knows exactly when he will be releasing the documents.

I think that Donald J. Trump has a good sense of timing, it should in my opinion be worth the wait.

If Stone does end up in prison, he’ll get a lot of respect from the other cons since it took such a show of force to bring him in.

Discipline including possible firings should be considered for everyone at the FBI involved in this, and especially for whomever leaked this to CNN. Civilians on the scene that could have been hurt or killed isn’t good.

Mueller did Stone a service by giving him the courtesy of a pre-dawn raid featuring dozens of vehicles and scores of G-Men to take him down.

Heck, it took more to bring in Mr. Stone than they sent for Osama Ladin.

That doesn’t even make any sense. If Mr. Kavanaugh is confirmed, it means that the Senate found the charges against him were untrue.

If he’s rejected for the Court, it means they think he’s guilty of attempted rape, flashing, and whatever else they are saying he did- and that’s the only time castration would make sense.

Sort of stupid to suggest castration of people found innocent of sex offenses.

That’s what I’m thinking.

Stevie Wonder could have seen this one coming- as soon as Sen. Grassley started giving any credence or attention to the first set of allegations made by Christine Ford.

The goal here was to remove Kavanaugh by any means possible- and always has been. Getting off schedule in the first place was the first error.

(Although I will wait and see- the way President Trump extricated himself from the Access Hollywood October Surprise, I won’t be surprised with any move that will come down now)

My suspicion on this is that this whole thing is just a Democratic Party scheme from the start. Ms. Ford is a party operative, very well connected.

I think if the FBI went in and seized the woman’s computer and cell phone, they would see the collusion here.

However, I would not be surprised if the gal got new technology devices this month and disposed of her old stuff in the traditional method of crushing it with a hammer and throwing the pieces in the ocean.
