Could Roger Stone deep down be overjoyed by the notoriety that Special Counsel Robert Mueller has given him with his arrest early on the morning on January 25? For years, the name-dropping Stone has portrayed himself as some sort of insider with special information and now Mueller has validated that fantasy.
To understand Stone's position, one must be familiar with what happened at the end of the 1963 Pink Panther movie. Yes, Roger Stone is as much the current Phantom as Jaques Cousteau was.

That could be true. I heard Stone in a interview weeks ago claim he was going to be indicted. I think he is planning on dropping a nuke on Mueller in court. It seems he wanted to be in the fight. If Mueller catches wind he will be exposed, the trial will be scuttled.
Believe me. Stone LOVES being in the spotlight. The idea that he could “turn” on Trump is absurd since there is NOTHING to turn about since Trump-Russia collusion is a myth. Oh, and if Mueller is so concerned about Stone somehow being connected to WikiLeaks, why didn’t he send investigators to talk to Julian Assange about this?
Mueller only cares about getting Trump. Truth and justice doesn’t matter. He will burn down the country to get his prize. I think Stone and Corsi are going to fight Mueller tooth and nail over his heavy handed tactics. They have a deep dislike for what Mueller is doing. I don’t see either one rolling over.
Mueller did Stone a service by giving him the courtesy of a pre-dawn raid featuring dozens of vehicles and scores of G-Men to take him down.
Heck, it took more to bring in Mr. Stone than they sent for Osama Ladin.
If Mr. Stone does go to prison, he’ll be heading to the penitentiary with one badass reputation, no one will mess with someone as dangerous as him. No one will mess with him.
