President-Elect Donald Trump’s landslide victory moved 48 states to the right, according to Associated Press data.
The shift represents the biggest move to the right since Ronald Reagan won in 2980.
“Democrats didn’t just lose badly,” Axios reported Friday. “They lost to a convicted felon they ridiculed as a racist, misogynistic fascist — and an existential threat to democracy.”
Early data shows Trump performed very well among demographics that typically leaned towards Democrats, Axios detailed:
One in three voters of color voted for Trump. Trump increased his support with Hispanic voters by double digits compared to 2020. Trump carried Hispanic men by 10 points. Trump improved his support with voters ages 18-29 by 10+ points. The states that moved the most to the right include many controlled by Democrats, such as California, New York, Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey. Florida and Texas also move to the right significantly:

and one of the two that didn’t move right is CO, run by Jena the cheat, who left the voting machine passwords ON LINE for all to access. Gee, wonder what came of that little stunt?
The next census won’t happen until Trump leaves office, the migration from Blue to Red States will continue until then.
If Republicans do a good job by getting an accurate count as possible, hopefully leaving out illegals, then the balance of power will shift even more to Red States, by all rights, they’re should have been 3-5 more electoral votes in Red States this time around.
I’m still surprised that Harris got more than 40% of the popular vote, and more than 100 electoral college votes. Regardless of the candidates involved, the dems did so much damage to this country in 4 years.
I am not sure by how much, but the two states that moved left from 2020 were Washington and Utah.
Today’s “journalists” are unfamiliar with the concept of proofreading. Many seem to have a scant familiarity with the tenets of composition and rhetoric.
The vote for Trump was 59% to 38%, almost the exact percentages as 2020.
The tide is turning. We can achieve some great things, if we have the courage to do so.
My IL county went 60% for Trump, some were over 70%. If we could just get fair maps the IL congressional delegation would be red. And our openly gay rep would be the last one ever.
No wonder Prickster is worried …Trump owns rural Illinois, even Sangamon county where the capital is.
The article should have used “in the year 2525” as it’s not as far into the future as 2980.
Ronald Reagan won in 2980 I won’t be around when they bring Ronald Reagan back in 2980.
One of my favorite things is to find typos in the WSJ. Two days ago on the opinion page they had an Ethic instead of Ethnic. Spoiled the thought. Spell Check is not your friend.
When newspapers started caring more about winning 'prizes' than winning the respect and trust of their readers - money got tight. Subscriptions dried up. And the first group to be downsized out of newspapers were proof readers. You have a good memory Bigg Red ...
I have a real issue when they are rewarded for breaking the laws of our country as their first act of getting here and the states and cities that assist the lawbreakers by creating sanctuaries.
But a few million getting deported first wouldn’t hurt my feelings at all.
“I am stunned at IL. 11 points it look like.”
I can’t find the new makeup of the IL General Assembly. I’m hoping we picked up a few seats.

Of course.
