President-elect Donald Trump pulled off an electoral map feat no candidate has achieved in four decades: capturing all seven key swing states that have become pivotal to securing a White House victory.
Trump prevailed in Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina — the first presidential candidate of either party to do so since Ronald Reagan’s historic 1984 reelection landslide victory against Walter Mondale, in which the Republican won 49 states.
The seven pivotal swing states have vacillated wildly since 2016, when Trump defeated then-opponent Hillary Clinton in all but Nevada.

BTW, Even Bush 41 didn't win Wisconsin in 1988.
Since President Reagan’s re-election.
Thank God. Mandate baby.
I’ve been an emotional roller coaster for weeks
What a dumb statistic. Swing states shift over time. I’m old enough to remember Ohio and Florida were swing states and Virginia was reliably red.

Time to make California a Swing State, sick and tired of the GOP doing nothing there.
And the west coast was reliably conservative.
Me too. Now I can work on grasping that this happened lol.
You should have seen me Tuesday morning. I got up and I started weeping and then I got done on my knees and prayed. I have never been this emotional over presidential election in my life.
Landslide
Obviously democracy (HT democrats) doesn’t work as electing Donald Trump subverted democracy and got elected by a majority of American voters.
I am here in CA.
JD Vance said it’s Ronald Reagan’s fault we are a one party state I forgot why. On Joe Rogan’s show.
We have some solid congressional reps but our state party is blah and very uninspired.
A Hispanic, Spanish-speaking figure with Trumpian traits. Or just someone who really “gets” all the nuances and diversity of the state without compromising principles.
We also need genuine talent in Hollywood that puts out good work and are also politically active in meaningful ways.
And more conservative influences in Silicon Valley
Same either Monday or Tuesday down on my knees begging God.
How did you watch? I literally just stared at the live results of AP as they came in as soon as the polls closed. I can’t say it was a lot of fun. Rollercoaster of states flipping back and forth. I felt no joy until ny friend called and told me about PA.
I went over to my friend’s house to watch the results.
Who has called Arizona and Nevada for Trump? I can’t find it.
Nice!
Nice reminder.
I love, love, love that Trump won ALL SEVEN swing states.
Eat it, liberals. Eat it raw.
