Please pray for my dog named Jessie. She is a 150lb. Mastiff and she has cancer. She is so large that the vet could not remove her leg and now she keeps crying even though she has medicine. I would be thankful for any prayers. God bless and thanks.

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – A janitor was charged with murder Saturday in the slaying of a priest whose body was found in the rectory of his northern New Jersey church. Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi said that 64-year-old Jose Feliciano stabbed and cut the Rev. Ed Hinds 32 times on Thursday after the pair argued. UTICA, N.Y. -- Twelve Utica residents face federal charges for approximately $2 million in food stamp fraud. These charges come after an 18 month state and federal investigation. Police say those indicted were accepting food stamp benefits in exchange for cash, which is a violation because these benefits are only to be used for eligible food products. A federal grand jury indicted the 12 Tuesday. Over $83,000 in federal stimulus funds will go to the Oneida Indian Nation for a project estimated to reduce energy usage. According to Media Relations Director for the Nation Mark Emery the solar lighting project at the Village of the White Pines will reduce energy usage by more than 10,000 kilowatts of power a year benefiting the entire energy grid. National Grid did not comment on how the federally funded project could benefit other consumers and taxpayers. Emery says federal stimulus money was available to governments all around the country, including states and Indian nations, for energy conservation purposes.

David Paterson says he'll go along with whatever the Senate's Democratic leader decides is the best way to win passage of legislation to legalize gay marriage. Both Paterson and Sen. A Syracuse man who butchered two goats in his basement has been charged with unjustifiable killing of animals, city police said. A neighbor called police after he heard what he thought was a woman screaming, police said. The neighbor went out to investigate the noise and saw Sharif Aden, 33, of 229 Maplehurst Ave., slitting the throats of the goats in the cellar, police said. Aden told police he butchered the goats for their meat. Aden said that his religion forbids him to eat meat from an animal killed with a gun, police said. Six illegal immigrants from Mexico were detained last night after being found in the Clark Energy Plant in Marcy. State Police were called by security guards who spotted the group coming out of the woods and onto the property. Investigator Allan Svitak says the Energy Plant is owned by the New York Power Authority who chose not to press charges. A Spanish speaking trooper was able to communicate with the individuals who admitted to being in the U-S illegally.
