Six illegal immigrants from Mexico were detained last night after being found in the Clark Energy Plant in Marcy. State Police were called by security guards who spotted the group coming out of the woods and onto the property. Investigator Allan Svitak says the Energy Plant is owned by the New York Power Authority who chose not to press charges.

A Spanish speaking trooper was able to communicate with the individuals who admitted to being in the U-S illegally. Apparently the group had been working for Osmose, a Buffalo based company who is contracted to clear brush and vegetation for National Grid.

No criminal charges have been filed and all 6 were released. State Police say Immigration and Customs officials have been notified.

Well isn't that special! The illegals were found near a power station plus they are illegal and the State Troopers just let them go!

Usually the NYS Troopers will give out a ticket if someone looks at them cross-eyed.

Seems like the illegals are getting special treatment.

One activity generates revenue, and one costs revenue plus wastes time that could be spent writing another revenue request.

Now what do you really expect a Revenue Agent to do?

If you are illegal or poor, the cops can't do anything to you. The cops can get sued if they try to enforce the law against them.

O'Reilly had a law enforcement officer on a few months ago on this topic. He said that when he apprehended some illegals in his rural area, he call ICE in Philadelphia. The ICE person said "If they are from Mexico and don't have an outstanding
warrant...let 'em go."

In other words, ICE profiles.
And illegals from Mexico are more equal than illegals from other countries.

I'm sure the trooper determined that the perps also didn't speak
Arabic, Farsi or Pashtun. (end sarcasm)

I'd like to get let go with a warning when I forget to buckle my seat belt and get caught because i put it on when I see the cop, then he busts me, thats all I'm asking to get away with......

I wonder if they let these 11 illegal aliens go too...

Not without giving them a firm and stern warning to show up for their hearings. That'll do it
