New child sex rules? How disgusting! Anyone who would hurt a child in such a manner should be put to death!

And you fail to realize that anyone who drinks to the point of drunkenness and then adds drugs on top of it IS a dangerous fool - with NO morals to speak of. There is no moral difference in either of the cases you speak of - "I can get home safely when drunk, since I have done it hundreds of times," and "I am going to drive my car across that center line and try to squash that oncoming motorcyclist." BOTH are intentional and both are done by dangerous fools.

He did intend to kill. He intentionally got himself drunk and high on drugs and then intentionally got behind the wheel of a car. He intentionally put himself in a situation to take the life of another human being. No matter how you cut it, it is murder.

"financially liable for his negligence"? The person he is financially liable to is DEAD!

Really? How long would you have given this guy had it been your son, father or brother that had been murdered? Weather a gun, a car, a knife, a ballbat or your bare hands - murder is murder - under the influence or not. I think 20 years is getting off easy for God says that a murderer shall be put to death...atleast this guy will be able to live for the next 20 years - even if it is in a prison...

    Num.35
[16] And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
[17] And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
[18] Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
[21] Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him.
[30] Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.
[31] Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.

I think Mr Ritter needs to read his Bible more and get with the program.

God has promised that the only way Israel will cease to be is if the ordinances of the sun, moon and stars cease to be or if "heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath".

God will never cast off His people Israel.

    Jeremiah 31:35-37

[35] Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
[36] If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
[37] Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

I am assuming that you are speaking of John 8:7 "So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." Jesus, not only the greatest teacher who ever lived, but also the Savior of the world, did say these very words. He saved that poor harlot's soul that day - but she still must live with all the mistakes that she made. Jesus did not take away the memory of every sin but rather told her to go away and sin no more.

John 8:10-11 "When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more."

Just as the harlot in John 8 must live with her past; so must this woman who had children by a man she never should have been with.

2 Cor. 6:14 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?"

It is the God-given duty of every Christian to warn others - so they don't have to make the same mistakes as others. (Ezekiel 3:18-19 "When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.")

Some Christian failed this woman by not warning her and trying to win her to Christ.

I suppose you think we should just all sit back and let things happen - and then when bad things do happen we should just mis-quote God's Word and then that is supposed to make it all better? May I suggest that you fall on your knees in prayer before God and then hit the streets with the rest of us and warn people - maybe if you do, things like this won't happen.

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"

    Amen! My thoughts exactly.

"You can't imagine what it's like to put your faith in your government and then, when you turn to it for help, to hear time and again that 'we have to respect Saudi law,'" says Miss Radwan's mother, Monica Stowers. "It's like finding out there's no God."

Your first mistake, Ms Stowers, was not putting your faith in God to begin with. Your second mistake was to marry a non-American/non-Christian and have his child. So, the only option now is to lie in the bed you have made for yourself -unfortunately, your children also have to lie in that bed.

Like so many women in this country this woman, I suppose, thought she could change her man - if only he would marry her. When will women wake up?

You are correct to use this scripture reference in speaking about the 2nd Coming. The scripture here is in no way speaking of the "Rapture" However, Jesus is speaking to the Jews here - not Christians - as He is in the other Gospels. The Church has not even come into being yet - The Church begins in the Book of Acts and moves forward to Revelation 4. As with all scripture you must correctly identify who is being spoken to. Without doing this the Bible is just a bunch of chaotic nonsense. God's elect is Israel and Israel as a nation will see Christ and accept Him as their true Messiah at the 2nd Coming. To not believe that there are dispensations, or divided times, is to call God a liar. For God himself says that we are to rightly divide His Word. "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2Tim2:15
