Wait, so, the additional “students of color” they mentioned were 11% of those expelled, but 15% of the student body? That doesn’t really support the “white racism” charge.
Same! I used to order from Penzeys, but when he called me racist I decided to shop elsewhere. I miss a couple of the products, but not enough to make me go back.
Yeah, I think you’re right! I probably would have overplayed it if I were to attempt the same: “Please, whatever you do, don’t celebrate this tragic event by taking ‘Kyle Rittenhouse shots’ while singing ‘Another One Bites The Dust’ and grabbing your right arm”
I’m actually a bit worried. We often cite, approvingly, the stats that show high numbers of new gun owners purchasing firearms, and repost memes that highlight the differences in proclivities between left and right (”one side has 400 million firearms and a trillion rounds of ammunition, the other is trying to figure out which bathroom to use”), but what if most of the increase is coming from antifa types? Kyle faced thugs who had guns, not just concrete milkshakes.
Yet the judges always let left-wing activist groups sue.
Maybe that’s the answer - we have to organize voting integrity nonprofit special interest groups, so that there will be a facial interest and therefore standing.
Does ‘on standby’ mean idling? I had read that one of the consequences of the shift to wind was that voal plants still had to run, albeit at a lower rate, to be able to quickly ramp up when needed.
Actually I don’t either as long as the training and requirements are the same for everyone trying to do it.
I agree - and making sure the qualifications are actually relevant to the mission should be the standard in the military as well as in civilian jobs. While I suspect they weakened the standards, I'm reserving judgment until I see what changes (if any) were made.
Funny, and sad. It’s a more pathetic version of big lefty companies in NYC who brag about their buildings being environmentally friendly (LEED Platinum!), because their computers are all across the river creating global warming in New Jersey.
So, I’m in my 40s and got the Pfizer vaccine, and with my wife argued my parents and my in-laws into getting the vaccine (they all got the Moderna). I think the benefits outweigh the risks of an experimental vaccine. That doesn’t mean I don’t worry that there are effects that we don’t know about, that will only be determined years down the road. And I am more hesitant to vaccinate my kids, since the virus seems to be extremely mild in the young.
