I’ve watched my neighbors daughter try to park her Dakota sport. It’s entertaining in a perverse way. The first time she made numerous attempts at parallel parking. After blocking traffic for several minutes, probably longer, she drove down the street and still had issues pulling straight in and backing up without climbing the curb.

They competed in the NW with the Kingsmen. They both released Louie Louie. Kingsmen had the hit. I was in the 5th or 6th grade at the time. Great era for music and garage bands. If your dad had room in his garage, you were in the band regardless of talent.
They were on Where The Action Is too. I use to rush home from school to catch Dark Shadows followed by Where the Action Is. Freddy “Boom Boom” Cannon did the theme. Freddy was a rocker.
When Kawasaki bought into Armco Steel to form AK Steel in Ashland. Ky. They brought the new investers into the plant. They had the men in the steam power department line up to meet them. Being a union man my dad didn’t care. As the Japanese made their way down the line shaking hands until they got to dad. Instead of shaking hands, he pointed to his ballcap which read, “Not enough bombs in ‘45”.
