    He looses any conservative election, because he is a corrupt party aparatchik and no conservative - his voting record speaks better than anything else.
    No war hero, if you ask me. He just got shot down and made the antiamerican statements, that his captors make him do ... what a disgrace...

    May be worth a huge lot one day. Worth a lot today!
    He is a national treasure. He's got a very strong appeal to a segment of the nation. The problem is that this segment is already a minority in the "chamber pot" in some parts of the country, and is also being betrayed by some members of its own.

    MIchael is the best radio talk show host I have heard so far. Sadly, I think he will never see the America he wants to see. It will only become worse. Too much corporate and political greed, too much "white" guilt and ineptitude in the immigration policy have already done the damage. There is no way out of the "chamber" pot.

    This guy is actually useful: he is 100% wrong on almost everything! Examples: Myers, Dubai/US ports scandal, now the amnesty bill from the Senate.
    Listen to him and always take the contrary position - you will be right!

    Michael Savage is the best. M.Medved, Hush Bimbo, Dennis Praeger, Tony Snow and Sean Hannity are all syndicated "party" boys, who DARE NOT voice any oppinion, contrary to the "party line" - just like in the good old commubnist times.

  • Analysis of Video (Warning: graphic description)

    AIBC to Blood of Tyrants

    I forced myself to watch the video, because I knew this was something I had to do, draw my cnclusions and be done with this lesson.
    I am a country boy too and I have also seen animals being killed. When animals are first electrocuted and then their blood drained, the flow is not as strong.
    I also noticed how still and calm he was throughout all this lengthy speech - his body language was inadequate for the kind of situation he was in.
    Today I also heard from some TV stations , that he had been learning Arabic and that he met with his deceased sister's husband. This makes me think that he probably knew at least a little Arabic to know what was about to happen.

    My conclusions:
    1) He was drugged with some drug or medicine, which slows down the heartbeat - this explains why the flow of blood was not strong and his behaviour during the speech, as well as the lack of any violent response to the attackers when they did it;
    2) The screams are too long, compared to the time of the killing. After the first cut, there could be no more screams;
    3) The above 2 points make me conclude that the killers must have recorded him screaming before that by using some scary tactic to make him scream while he was conscious;
    (BTW, do we have samples of his voice from home videos, speeches or other sources? Have those been compared to the screams in the video? Do we know for sure these are his screams and not somebody elses?)

    We all know the rest. Obviously their main goals are:
    1) to deliver the message to their supporters - "Allah akbar', etc., i.e. recruiting purpose among Muslims;
    2) to deliver a message to everybody in the USA camp and to those who think of joining the US camp - this is what expects you, if you do not give up and leave;

    It is gruesome, sickening and IMO very miscalculating on their part. This deed did not promote their cause.

  • America, you are at war!

    AIBC to Windsong

    Thank you for the post! I would like to be corrected by anyone here on this forum, if I am wrong in any of the views below.
    There are two major parties in the USA today: Democratic and Republican.
    The base of the former consists of: fiscal liberals, religious liberals and atheists, academia, government employees, gay and lesbian communities, black Americans (95%+ vote democratic), other minorities, minority immigrants, Jewish Americans, some big business (Macdonalds, Coca Cola, Pepsi Cola, etc.); lots of women across the board, people of non-Christian faith, etc.
    The base of the latter is: fiscal and religios conservatives, entrepreneurs, educated non-academic types and professionals, white males, some big business (HMOs, Tobacco, medical companies), millitary personnel, lots of Christians, smaller percentage of women, European immigrants of Christian faith.

    What they want:
    1) Democratic base:
    fiscal liberals: more taxes for more social programs;
    religious liberals and atheists: abortion rights, less interference of religion with state and politics;
    academia: these think they are exceptionally smart and wise and want higher sallaries; more money for educational programs, hence more money for them; they are unwilling to undertake risks in life (e.g. starting a new business and applying their knowledge there), but prefer cushy jobs with no risks and higher sallaries;
    government employees: Democrats=higher taxes=more salaries for bigger and bloated bureaucratic aparats;
    gay and lesbian communities: more freedoms such as: free manifestation of their sexuality (so that they can recruit more people like themselves), marriages (so that they can have estate planning and tax deduction for living with their "significant others");
    black Americans (95%+ vote democratic) and other minorities: these want higher taxes "for the rich" so that there will be more money for social programs, which will be used for their benefit;
    some minority immigrants: coming here without language and education, these depend desperately on social programs for them (i.e. higher taxation of the rich);
    Jewish Americans: these I simply do not understand why they vite democratic, may be because a democratic president fought against Nazis during WWII, I do not know;
    some big businesses: (Macdonalds, Coca Cola, Pepsi Cola, etc.): please tell me why;
    lots of women across the board: these want more education and healthcare for their kids;
    people of non-Christian faith: these feel threatened by the right-wing Christian base, which is mostly associated with the "evil white male"

    2) Republican base:
    fiscal and religios (Christian) conservatives: no abortion, more (Christian) religion in schools;
    entrepreneurs: less taxes, less governmental bureaucracy, educated non-academic types and professionals: same as the entrepreneurs;
    white males: same as above, as they are mostly well-educated, self-sufficient and depend less on social programs;
    some big business (HMOs, Tobacco, medical companies): less taxes (less subsidizing of social programs), less law suits, more government orders (mostly weaponry, machinery manufacturers), Tobacco companies - less harassing lawsuits, etc.)
    millitary personnel: disciplined well-meaning people, who get paid more and get equipped better by Republican administrations;
    lots of Christians: mostly whites, educated, self-sufficient people;
    smaller percentage of women: strong, well-educated women, who can take care of their kids without dependency on social programs;
    European immigrants of Christian faith: same as other Christians;

    The above lists are far from complete and probably far from being accurate, but this establishes a starting point for my analysis of the kind of society I live in. I want to be corrected in my analysis, please do that!

    But my big question is: why is the media so predominantly leftist? It has tremendous power in shaping public oppinion and can affect the direction this country is being shaped.
    Once we understand why is media so leftist, the next question will be: Is this good ot bad? I guess the answer is: for some, it's good, for some, it's bad.
    Then the last question will be: for those, for whom the leftist media is bad, what should they do?
    My answer: contact the Republican base, raise money and create a counter-part for the leftist TV stations with enough number of conservative TV stations. FOX and consrvative radio stations are not enough to balance the leftist TV stations.
    I am sure that society will benefit from balance in the extremely unbalanced, leftist, media field.

    The Geneva conventions relate to warfare as the world experienced it during WWII. They are irrelevant to anti-terrorist actions. There is no official "terrorists" army. We are dealing with underground millitants, who kill US, Iraqi and other citizens just to create terror and mayhem. Since there is no officially recognized enemy force, then the Geneva convention rules would not apply in anti-terrorist activities.
    Since it is very unlikely that the UNO will congregate any time soon to hammer out new rules, specifically designed for anti-terrorist measures, then it is indeed up to our politicians to determine these rules.
    It is very saddening to see how our civillian command is using its pre-election political games to fight this war. In the process they are risking soldiers' lives.

    I think the rocade with former Saddam generals is just a time gaining strategy. The US should bring in the Abrams tanks from Germany. The RPGs, it turns out, are quite effective against the Humvees, besides that, they are also portable and easily concealed. To attack a tank of the Abrams kind, one needs a more serious weapon like the SPG-9, or at least a 100 mm antitank cannon, not to mention the PTURS - from the former Soviet arsenal.
    It seems to me the marines are not equipped well for Fallujah, which is why we see the newly-formed Iraqi army going in and out of the city for some time. I am no military expert, but it seems to me that if you want the problem resolved militarily, you must bring in the tanks!
    As an example, Israel fights the same kind of guerrilla force, armed with similar weapons, and is successful with far less casualties.
