CNN — The Supreme Court on Friday turned down a request from the Biden administration to enforce parts of a new federal rule meant to protect LGBTQ+ and pregnant students from discrimination in 10 states where the rule was put on hold by federal judges.
The court announced its decision in an unsigned order that drew a partial dissent from the court’s three liberals and conservative Justice Neil Gorsuch.
The Supreme Court’s order is the latest blow to the Biden administration on the issue, which has suffered a series of setbacks with federal courts blocking a rule that was intended to protect transgender students. Much of the rule remains blocked in about half of the nation.

What happened to Gorsuch?
“ The Supreme Court voted 5-4 Friday to reject a Biden administration emergency request to enforce portions of a new rule that includes protections from discrimination for transgender students under Title IX.
The request would have permitted biological men in women’s bathrooms, locker rooms and dorms in 10 states where there are state-level and local-level rules in place to prevent it.
The sweeping rule was issued in April and clarified that Title IX’s ban on “sex” discrimination in schools covers discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation and “pregnancy or related conditions.”

It’s like they think they can set up rights for anyone or
anything, and we should all step to attention and genuflect.

CNN is behind the latest term:
LGBTIQA+
which stands for “lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning, asexual and many other terms (such as non-binary and pansexual)”.
In Canada, the community is sometimes identified as
LGBTQ2
(lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and two spirit).
It expands the existing law to cover sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or expression, and physical or mental disability. Religion, ethnicity and race were already included in the previous legislation and will still be covered under the new law.
Michigan has recently been pushing reforms and new measures that would expand the protection of LGBTQ+ rights in the state, going against a nationwide trend that has seen other states moving to limit rights for transgender youth.
Why should someone with a different sexual proclivity have special rights?
I didn’t use to care one way or another what homosexuals did with their free time as long as it didn’t affect me or they didn’t throw their deviance in my face.
Well they did throw in our faces and it does affect me indirectly when they let boys/men in girls bathrooms and locker rooms. Also the month of June sucks with all the rainbow crap. That should be abolished. Make it Veterans Month and a Gay minute.
Gorsuch is odd about 20% of the time. He’ll agree with the Left on certain issues and yes, even Roberts, Kavanaugh and ACB would disagree with Gorsuch on that.
Poor Joe! He just can’t think of anything Constitutional to do for Americans.
50+ years in government “service” and he still has no clue how this country is supposed to work.
His entire career has been devoted to corruption and self-aggrandizement. He is and has always been a crook.
This is the price he had to pay for power. He is devoted to the destruction of the USA.
It was easy in the Senate. All he had to do was vote the way the Dem leader/s told him to and the rest of his time was free for grifting.
VP was even easier and 0bamaomau even assigned him to grifting opportunities.
