Children’s toy store Build-a-Bear is selling RuPaul-themed drag queen teddies in a supposedly adults-only section of its website dubbed the ‘Bear Cave’. The RuPaul Bear Gift Set features a teddy wearing a blonde wig, the garish lipstick and eyeshadow synonymous with the drag scene, with a gold sequin dress and heels. Drag queens have become a key battleground in the Western culture wars in recent years, as leftist activists increasingly insist that it is vital to expose children to often highly-sexualised drag performances from the cradle to college, in venues including schools and public libraries. RuPaul Charles, 62, is perhaps...

Build-a-Bear Workshop's new RuPaul drag queen bear has divided customers who claim the store is 'grooming' children. The glamorous bear comes with a curly blonde wig, gold sequin dress, and gold pumps and includes the 'RuPaul's Drag Race' logo on the bear's paw. 'Start your engines—RuPaul Bear is ready to sashay into your collection,' the item's description on 'The Bear Cave' website — an 18+ section of the Build-a-Bear site. The stuffed animal immediately caused outrage online with many calling out the business for selling the bear amid growing controversy regarding drag performances and children around the U.S. 'Remember: there's...

A cheap teddy offer which left shoppers with young children queuing for up to eight hours amid chaotic scenes has been abandoned over "safety concerns". Build-A-Bear Workshop was offering UK customers a chance to buy any bear, which can cost up to £52, for the price of their child's age. At Leeds' White Rose Shopping Centre police were called when queues of "about a mile long" formed. The company said the response had been "overwhelming and unprecedented". There have also been reports of long queues in US shopping centres, where the American company was also putting on the same promotion...

The Texas governor hasn't always regarded federalized health care as unconstitutional and noxious to liberty In Rick Perry's 2010 book Fed Up, he declares that federalized health care is unconstitutional, insists that handling the issue at the state or local level is essential to liberty, and argues that introducing government run health care foolishly risks destroying the best system in the world. "It's not hard to see who believes in the Constitution and who doesn't if we look closely. For now, if you are an establishment politician in Washington, you'd better be prepared for a complete review of your record,"...

Conservative bloggers are calling for a boycott of the company. Executives say the series, in which Santa is warned the North Pole could melt before Christmas, was intended to inspire children.St. Louis - First, Chicken Little warned children that the sky was falling. And now Build-a-Bear Workshop has warned children that the North Pole could disappear before Christmas. The Missouri-based company has found itself in hot water, defending an animated series on its website featuring polar bears, penguins and Mrs. Claus, as Santa is warned that global warming is "a serious situation." Conservative bloggers reposted the videos online and called...

Not very important considering the other disasters happening in this country. Here is an email exchange I had with the Build-a-Bear people regarding their stupid promo using Santa to indoctrinate kids with the global warming hoax. Dear Build-a-Bear: AGW is a hoax. Indoctrinating kids regarding this scam is unforgivable. The children on my gift list won't be receiving a Build a Bear now or in the future. You should keep your political views to yourself. Glo-bull warming has no place in the marketing of a product to children. This campaign should be dropped and Santa should not used to spew...

This missive is directed at the guardians of, and donors to, tiny humans. If you fall into that category you likely are already familiar with Build-A-Bear, a world-wide corporation that provides the most innocent of services. They sell customizable stuffed animals. Make your own bear, dog…penguin. Cute concept. So cute, in fact, that the Build-A-Bear empire sweeps across nearly every state and into 17 other countries. You’ll find their outlets in shopping malls everywhere and even some ballparks. The company also has a website called Build-A-Bearville.com where children can play an interactive video game that, on it’s surface, is unlikely...

Al Gore must be working as a consultant at Build-A-Bear Workshop®. Evident in the company's three "Build-A-Bearville®" videos below is an unhealthy dose of the junk science-laden, polar-bears-are-dying propaganda on which the former vice president has made hundreds of millions of dollars since leaving public office.
