To be honest, I’d never much thought about the Ebola lockdowns in Sierra Leone and Liberia in 2014 and 2015. Within public health, the Sierra Leone and Liberia lockdowns were an early illustration of the fact that lockdowns were ineffective, but governments of developing nations sometimes do strange things; the idea that these lockdowns might have greater geopolitical significance never occurred to me. This changed dramatically when I began studying social media activity about lockdowns before 2020. Prior to 2014, and from 2016 to 2019, there’s virtually no social media activity about lockdowns. However, this pattern changes abruptly during one...

I'd like to see the same care given to Bill Clinton's MANY victims and Obama's Guy Flings as has been given to Smokey Baby. Obviously they are interested in getting the Truth out, no?? Maybe the National Enquirer could handle the interviews, since all of this belongs there AND they seem to be the only ones capable of finding the Truth in a haystack.

British journalist Andy Marr went there. The BBC presenter on Sunday hammered Hillary Clinton in a way that most American reporters wouldn’t dare. After asking her about the Harvey Weinstein scandal, Marr didn’t let this bit of hypocrisy go unchecked from the presidential candidate: “We recognize that this kind of behavior cannot be tolerated anywhere, whether it’s in entertainment, politics.” After Clinton suggested that women need to “stand” against abuse from men, Marr shot back: “This depends on women coming forward and having the courage to come forward. And yet in your book, the three women brought onto stage by...

…if he can avoid going the way of Huey Long. This is a temptation to power, which each of us must face. Trump already has the advantage, over Obillary, that he doesn't need public money to enrich himself. Two movies about Huey Long, starred Jimmy Cagney ("A Lion in the Streets") and Broderick Crawford ("All the King's Men"). Interestingly, Broderick and Jimmy were also in a movie together ("The Time of Your Life"), in which the protagonist is a wealthy guy who is big on the common touch. Life Imitates Art.

Remember when Hillary Clinton said something about how all women who are sexually assaulted should be heard? Or something along those lines, it’s hard to keep it all straight considering how much nonsense she spews but it was something like that. Apparently the Left only agrees with her when women who are Democrats want to talk about being sexually assaulted, otherwise they’re just tramps.

The dean of the law school at the University of the District of Columbia urged students to take part in protests in Baltimore, even offering to defer an exam for those who help people on the street with legal advice. Clarke School of Law told students that community and police relations “is the civil rights issue of our time,” and that law school leaders want students to be part of the “energy and commitment” of the protests.

The Ebola disinformation surfaced in a Liberian newspaper on September 9, 2014, in a letter by an American professor. The “Dear World citizens” column, by Dr. Cyril Broderick, has since been picked up by various Internet sites and “news” organizations, including Alex Jones’ Infowars, Global Research, Iranian Press TV, Information Clearing House, and something called 21st Century Wire. Labeled by some critics as the “nutty professor” and a crackpot, the professor’s “research profile” claims he is president of the International Society of African Scientists. Other local and regional sources, such as “Face 2 Face Africa,” described as “The Premier Pan-African...

The clip that will be broadcast during halftime — where ad time costs $3.5 million for 30 seconds — will be only one minute long.

January 26, 2008 8:18 PM Said Bill Clinton today in Columbia, SC: "Jesse Jackson won South Carolina in '84 and '88. Jackson ran a good campaign. And Obama ran a good campaign here." This was in response to a question about Obama saying it "took two people to beat him." Jackson had not been mentioned. Boy, I can't understand why anyone would think the Clintons are running a race-baiting campaign to paint Obama as "the black candidate."

Bishop Edwin B. Broderick, who led the Albany Roman Catholic Diocese from 1969 to 1977, sadly fails to grasp the magnitude of the clergy abuse scandal that haunts church leaders nationwide. How else to explain his remarks to our reporter Michele Morgan Bolton the other day. "In those days, we had 550 priests," he said, recollecting his tenure in Albany. "What are you going to do, go down to every rectory past midnight and check to see if the priests are alone? Or if there are little boys around? They all take a vow of celibacy." Of course, no one...
