PRINCETON, New Jersey, March 9, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Over half of America’s teenagers believe homosexuality comes from a person’s environment and upbringing, and is not something a person is born with, according to a new Gallup Youth survey. The poll looked at the responses from 546 teenagers, ages 13-17. When asked if being gay is due to outside factors, such as up bringing and environment, or if it is something a person is born with, 59 percent of teenagers said homosexuality comes from outside factors.
