Some High School Sporting Officials in Washington State Want to Throw Unsportsmanlike Behavior Off the Field March 4, 2007 — From brawls on professional basketball courts to out-of-control parents at Little League games, unsportsmanlike behavior can be a problem. Now, some high school sporting officials in Washington state are considering tough new rules — including a ban on booing. Those who support the ban say that too often, spectators are cruel. "It's the organized effort to try to intimidate or try to make fun of someone that becomes personal in nature that can escalate then into other concerns that we...

FORGET ABOUT it Jake, it's Phillytown. You've been here plenty of times before. This was not the first Eagles lead you've seen vanish like a sand castle in a tsunami. And if Andy Reid, a veteran coach now, not the greenhorn who came here from Green Bay with a head and playbook crammed with bright ideas, keeps revisiting the mistakes he has admitted to in the past, well... lead you've seen vanish like a sand castle in a tsunami. Well, Phillytown is gonna give you a lot more heartbreak-splashed afternoons to file in the forget-about-it file. lead you've seen vanish...

PHILADELPHIA Nov 8, 2005 — Terrell Owens has apologized to Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid, quarterback Donovan McNabb, the team's owner, the team's president and fans. He read the statement outside his house in Moorestown, N.J., a day after the team said he would not return this season. "I fight for what I think is right. In doing so, I alientated a lot of my fans and my teammates," he said. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said Owens was making a public apology in hopes of returning to the Eagles this year. Owens' brief but tumultuous time in Philadelphia ended Monday...

Terrell Owens Press Conference (mp3) is available here: http://www.850koa.com/cc-common/podcast.html I just viewed the Terrell Owens press conference on ESPN News. I didn't realize his agent is the absolute idiot loudmouth Drew Rosenhaus. I therefore retract my support for bringing T.O. to Denver. If T.O. fires Rosenhaus then I'm for bringing T.O. here once again. and ESPN's Sal Palantonio is now reporting that the Eagles have officially said that Owens' last minute apology today doesn't change anything. T.O. will never be in an Eagles uniform again. EVER.
