If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent Him. – VoltaireIt is peculiar how the Left, who likes to mock God-fearing Christians as “superstitious religious Neanderthals” and “compulsive believers,” are quick to embrace their own secular religion of politically correct ideologies: The reason these secular, individualistic and utilitarian ideologies are unchallengeable is that they’re held to represent not a point of view but virtue itself. That’s because they are all utopian. In their different ways, they represent an idea of the perfection of the world. So, class divisions would give way to equality, the capitalist despoliation of...

Audrius Lotuzas of FPS Russia demonstrate this super drone and its capabilities. This Quad Rotor drone is decked out with camera and a submachine gun with 100 rounds of ammo. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DOW) hit another record new high on Thursday! It was the 10th straight daily market close where the DOW set a new stock market high. This incredible rally started back on February 9th. In the history of the DOW, going back to January 1901, the DOW record for most continuous closing high trading days was set in January of 1987 when Ronald Reagan was President. The DOW set closing highs an amazing 12 times in a row that month. Only two other times has the DOW reached 10 days in a row of closing highs...

Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party managed to hold Stoke-on-Trent Central in a by-election Thursday but lost Copeland, a seat it has held since its creation, to Prime Minister Theresa May’s Conservatives. The Tory win in Copeland is the first time a government party has gained a seat in a by-election since 1982. Trudy Harrison, the Conservative candidate in Copeland, won the seat with 13,748 votes, beating Labour’s Gill Troughton on 11,601. The swing to the Conservatives from Labour was close to 7 percent. Harrison said her win was “historic” after the results was announced.

Top Republicans are now publicly saying that Obamacare will never be fully repealed. In fact, many Republicans in Congress are already using the term “repair” instead of “repeal” to describe what is going to happen to Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law. Without a doubt, the Republicans in Congress are eventually going to do something, but strategists in both parties are now suggesting that most of the key elements of Obamacare are going to remain once everything is all said and done. It will be put into a more “conservative” package, but it will still be Obamacare. On Thursday, former House...

Governor Bullock (D) of Montana vetoed constitutional carry again. This year,2017, it was HB 262. Bullock vetoed the bill on Thursday afternoon, the 22nd of February. In an nbcmontana.com article, Governor Bullock stated that allowing individuals to decide whether they are eligible to carry concealed weapons is absurd: Bullock noted in his veto letter that he had rejected two bills identical to Harris' measure in past sessions. The governor says the idea of allowing individuals to decide for themselves whether they are eligible to carry concealed weapons is absurd. Governor Bullock did not mention that in Montana, individuals can...

I'm sure that most of us to the right of center grew awfully tired of the propaganda put out by the Obama campaign. One of the worst was the execrable "The Life of Julia" YouTube piece contrasting the idyllic life under glorious Soviet multiracial healer Obama, as opposed to that known purveyor of"binders full of women" Romney. I give a synopsis, followed by corrections, with the benefits of hindsight: Slide 1: Julia goes to Head Start to help prepare for kindergarten under Obama. Under Romney/Ryan the budget would be cut. Correction: Ryan as replacement GOP chair for Weepy Boehner, gave...

Hundreds of Winnipeggers braved -27 C temperatures for the early-morning opening of Canada’s first Jollibee restaurant in mid-December 2016. The Filipino food service franchise said 500 people were lined up by the time the restaurant opened at 7:30 a.m. Jollibee is the ninth-largest fast-food company in the world with more than 3,000 stores, and is considered the McDonald’s of the Phillipines. It is best known for its pineapple-topped hamburgers, Chickenjoy fried chicken and Jolly spaghetti. Winnipeg was chosen as the first Canada location because it has the largest population of Filipinos, per capita, in the country. “We are very encouraged...

Top lawyers who helped the Obama White House craft and hold to rules of conduct believe President Donald Trump and his staff will break ethics norms meant to guard against politicization of the government — and they’ve formed a new group to prepare, and fight. United to Protect Democracy, which draws its name from a line in President Barack Obama’s farewell address that urged his supporters to pick up where he was leaving off, has already raised a $1.5 million operating budget, hired five staffers and has plans to double that in the coming months. They’ve incorporated as both a...

At a plush hotel in Maryland thousands of young Trump supporters from all over America — many in T-shirts that read socialism sucks — are queuing up for the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Here they are among the faithful, but back home they said it was a different story, particularly at university campuses where their fellow students are much more likely to support Bernie Sanders. Adriana Conradson from Florida said her attempts to engage fellow students in debates about conservative values were not always welcome. "I've been screamed at in grocery stores just for walking around with a...

Univision anchor Jorge Ramos used the recent occasion of President Trump saying that “DREAMers” should be treated with a “heart” to advocate that all 11 million illegal aliens should be legalized while the president has both chambers of Congress under his party’s control. He made the comments on CNN with Anderson Cooper Thursday. “In the shadow of the expansion of immigration enforcement,” Cooper asked, “the Trump administration, they’re leaving in place the protections they say were put in place for ‘DREAMers’ and documented parents of U.S. citizens. What do you make of that decision? Does that, do you think that...

A local woman, Kim Acres, is orchestrating a pro-Trump rally at Town Park in Madison next week in conjunction with a nationwide effort, The Spirit of America Rally,” urging Americans to come together to simultaneously show public support for President Donald Trump. The first round of rallies will be held across the country on Monday, February 27 at noon, including the one at Town Park. “This is to show support for our President. Let’s show that Patriotism has not died. These rallies are being held all across this great country on that same date and time. Let’s join them in...

Cisco executive chairman and tech investor John Chambers believes the Trump administration and Congress will make startups great again by loosening regulations and making it easier for more companies to go public. "You've got to really enable the next generation of start-ups," Chambers told CNBC's Josh Lipton. "It starts with regulation, in terms of making it easier for companies to do this," said Chambers. "It comes with, really, making America great in the startup community again." Start-ups will be pivotal to America's future economic growth, said Chambers. Though 90 companies that went public on the Nasdaq last year, he stressed...

"I was told I could prepare a statement for my Senate website or my Facebook page," Nguyen said. California State Sen. Janet Nguyen (R-Garden Grove), was forcibly removed from the Senate Thursday morning for offering a different perspective on the late Sen. Tom Hayden, a Democrat with a well-known and lengthy history of communist sympathies. The perspective Sen. Nguyen offers is first hand. Her family escaped communist Vietnam and came to the United States in search of freedom in 1981 during Ronald Reagan’s presidency.

For a few days, Project Veritas founder and conservative activist James O'Keefe has been hyping the release of what he said were hundreds of hours of undercover audio recordings of employees at CNN. Some staffers at CNN were legitimately alarmed that O'Keefe would be releasing tapes that could be embarrassing for the network. O'Keefe is known for his undercover video recordings, though questions over deceptive editing and concerns about the questionable tactics used to obtain those recordings have plagued some of his prior work. Before releasing the tapes Thursday, O'Keefe was featured on The Drudge Report and on Sean Hannity's...

Some of you might suspect (for some crazy reason probably having to do with your ignorance, racism and homophobia) that these pro-Obamacare "town hall" meetings simultaneously popping up all over the country are somehow being organized by paid agitators. That's dangerously Neanderthalic thinking, my friends. It's a good thing that the j-school geniuses of the Wall Street Journal are here to set you straight with this just-the-facts headline: "America's Rowdy Town Halls: More Organic Than Organized" Bam! That's some real talk, yo! How you like that, haterz? And it's not just the headline. They did their research, bitches. See, they...

A hypocritical NBCNews.com article argues that America is a “flawed democracy” that can be fixed by copying the “World’s Best Democracy” — Norway. In “Norway Is the ‘World’s Best Democracy’ — We Asked Its People Why,” NBC pretends to provide an objective look at why the Economist Intelligence Unit — based in London, where the country’s parliament actually considered banning America’s president — downgraded the U.S. to a “flawed democracy” and rated Norway the best. The article doesn’t mention one reason the U.S. is a flawed democracy: it isn’t one; it’s actually a Republic. […] Feigning fairness, the article points...
