There were so many pictures to choose from. I went every day for a month so I've posted just a few pictures. There is much more to see in three slideshows below.

This is a major reason why I despise Ron Paul. He convinced donors to give him money based on this cockamamie and evolving strategy of getting delegates to the RNC convention. And what did they get out of it? Zippo. And the worst part is Paul knew all along it wouldn't work. First, Paul tried to convince people he knew the delegate process better than Mitt Romney and could successfully get enough delegates to steal the nomination. People gave him money in droves. Next, he changed the strategy so his delegates could influence the party platform as if that had...

Roxy Music were an English art-rock group formed by art school graduate Bryan Ferry (vocals and keyboards), electronic music pioneer Brian Eno (synthesizer and 'treatments'), and others in 1971... A mere 12 months later, the band had attained huge popular -and critical- success in the UK and Europe that lasted right-on-through the 1970s and into early 80s, beginning with the Top-10 debut album Roxy Music in 1972. Roxy Music was an astonishingly talented and innovative group, both in sound and trailblazing 'glam' stage show. The band was highly influential, a significant source of inspiration to much of the English punk scene and a model for...

The Republican National Convention featured strong women reverently proclaiming God has blessed America and our need to follow His grace back to where He wants us to be. The wholesomeness of the real America was highlighted by the many good decent women who rose to speak. We heard women who are governors a former cabinet member and loving wives tell us they understand the threat the current administration is to real America. These Republican women showed America they understand personal matters are to be kept personal; love of country is their open passion. The RNC celebrated real families with strong...

Well, it seems like some DUmmies have seen the handwriting on the wall and are already coming up with excuses for Obama losing in November. So what are their excuses? The usual suspects as you can see in this THREAD, "Why the Republicans could win big this year." You have seen it all before. Of course, DUmmies can never accept the REAL reason for an election loss. This is why the mental meltdown in DUmmieland in the event the Bamster loses could be monumental. The highest DUmmie meltdown ever which is really saying something. So let us watch the...

Proponents of the "Keep Home Care Safe" proposal are trying to sell it to voters by claiming it would create a program that's been in existence for more than 30 years. In reality, the measure would lock the forced unionization of home health care workers in the State Constitution if Michigan voters approve it on Nov. 6. Of course the real reason doesn't sell as well with voters so the Service Employees International Union and its supporters are pushing the idea of safety instead. Only the protections they're talking about have existed in a federal program since 1981. To get...

After almost a full term in the Oval Office, President Barack Obama still has no idea how to be an effective American president. A little over 2 months before he could even get the job, Republican nominee Mitt Romney proved that he knows how it's done. Last night Mr. Romney accepted his party's nomination with the words "President Obama promised to begin to slow the rise of the oceans and heal the planet. My promise is to help you and your family." Today he is providing a real world example of the difference between himself and the self-absorbed, ineffective incumbent...

I’ll get to Clint in a minute. First, an important announcement: The R2 Team has officially embraced Alinsky’s Rules as their own! Who knew they had it in them? It seemed as though everyone spent an inordinate amount of time last night practicing Rule #5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” Take Marco for example: Under Barack Obama, the only “Change” is that “Hope” has been hard to find(snip) Hope and Change has become Divide and Conquer. (snip) Just who does that little whippersnapper think he is, ridiculing HOPE and CHANGE like that? As for Mitt himself...ridiculing Big Guy. Who...

The reviews continue to pour in on Clint Eastwood’s appearance at the Republican National convention Thursday night, and "mixed" might be a charitable way to put it. One prominent Republican, Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, said that he "cringed" at the performance. An unattributed release from the Romney campaign defended Eastwood, according to The Wall Street Journal: "Judging an American icon like Clint Eastwood through a typical political lens doesn’t work. His ad-libbing was a break from all the political speeches, and the crowd enjoyed it,” the statement read.

At the present time, an economic hurricane has devastated the country. The news keeps getting worse as Americans are facing a high unemployment rate, anemic economic growth, rising food and gasoline prices and a housing industry that is in a depression. Food stamp recipients are at an all time high and more Americans than ever are classified as poor.

A Los Angeles artist who allegedly painted the words ‘Tastes Like Hate’ on a Chick-fil-A restaurant following the announcement that their president was against marriage equality, is not going to be criminally charged. Manuel Castro, 30, of West Hollywood, was arrested on suspicion of vandalism a few weeks ago, but will not be criminally charged by the LA County district attorney’s office, according to the Los Angeles Times. Prosecutors said earlier this week that they would not be pressing charges after police in Torrance submitted a case. The District Attorney’s letter said: “The suspect has acknowledged his wrongdoing and offered...

It took nearly 200 years after Thomas Jefferson died before the former President of the United States had his birthday officially recognized as a holiday. But for every city of Saginaw Fire Department government union member, it comes with the job — as well as a $110 bonus. According to the Saginaw Fire Fighters Association contract that ran from July 1, 2006, through June 30, 2012, a government union employee's birthday is recognized as one of 12 holidays that triggers a $110 a day premium. The other 11 holidays include, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. day, Good Friday,...

The Michigan Court of Appeals ruled Monday that the so-called “Protect Our Jobs” ballot proposal should be put on the Nov. 6 statewide ballot. A motion will be filed immediately asking the State Supreme Court to overrule the lower court, said Gary Gordon, the attorney for Citizens Protecting Michigan's Constitution, the coalition of business groups opposing the proposal. The State Supreme Court can be expected to do one of three things. It could refuse to address the issue, which would result in the proposal being put on the ballot; It could address the issue and uphold the Court of Appeals,...

Mr. Chairman, Mr. Chairman and delegates. Mr. Chairman and delegates, I accept your nomination for President of the United States. I do so with humility, deeply moved by the trust you’ve placed in me. It is a great honor. It is an even greater responsibility. And tonight I am asking you to join me to walk together to a better future. By my side, I have chosen a man with a big heart from a small town. He represents the best of America, a man who will always make us very proud – my friend and America's next Vice President,...
