I became addicted to FreeRepublic.com during the 2000 election cycle. This time I've also become addicted to reading blogs, both on the left and the right. (Of course, the ones on the right are the truth and the ones on the left are merely unfortunate.) I like everything from Instapundit to Wonkette. Now I would like help finding intelligent new blogs that are supporting President Bush's reelection. Also, I just want to see some of the blogs other Freepers are putting their time and effort into compiling and polishing.

New Entry: The 9/11 Commission Report Grandmother tells Kaitlyn why her generation should run, not walk, should passe politicians decide to form a commission to study anything. A touch of humor in a sea of seriousness.

Let me be among the first to call George Washington a goon - indeed Ben Franklin, Thomas Paine, and Samuel Adams were all celebrated goons of their time. Truly, their goonyism is an inspiration to all Americans. Let us also name the other goons who have made America great - the goons of yesteryear like Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy. They were dedicated goons, one and all... And thanks to John Kerry, we can call every great American a goon! No, no, it's true - the new name for "patriot" is "goon". Let's break this...

When the Democrats issued credentials to between 30 and 50 bloggers and treated them to a special "breakfast for bloggers" at this week's Boston convention, you sensed something is changing in the media. This change was confirmed by CNNs decision to review and discuss, on the air, what bloggers (those people who produce an online informational web log or "blog") have to say about the convention. Democrats realized the power of the Internet with the Howard Dean campaign as they witnessed his overnight boost in the primaries thanks to the Internet and blogs. Now the party thinks it may be...

It's no wonder the Left continues to lose support across this country. When it's most popular site is The Daily Hate of Kos, it's easy to understand. Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, better known as Kos, is the wannabe leader of the internet left. Perhaps he's best known around the country, and world, for his disparaging remarks regarding the 4 civilian contractors killed in Fallujah, (the infamous "Screw them" post), Kos has continued to fill the left with hate regarding anything on the right. TO BRING ONE MORE IRAQI VOICE OF THE SILENT MAJORITY TO THE ATTENTION OF THE WORLD IN THE NAME OF GOD THE COMPASSIONATE THE MERCIFUL Hi Friends, God knows that it does not please me leaving you for such a long time. Next to prayer and communion with the Lord, this cybernetic communication with friends far away in distance but near to the heart has become a necessity and highly therapeutic in these most trying times. Thoughts and feelings swarm and trouble the mind and heart and cry out for release and expression, and there are so many things that...

Though it may not always shine through, I am a Catholic, and a firm believer in God. But I also believe that all religions that teach values such as the golden rule, hold a core of Gods wisdom and act as a way of doing his works. I believe that acts of kindness that seek nothing in return are the face of God. This man who could not concieve of the wonders I've seen, who could not imagine the wealth I have at my disposal and the lifestyle to which I've become accustomed, had by this simple act touched me...

Still trying to get my Feedback form to work (need to work that out with Yahoo!) Or with FrontPage 2002. I've never done this before, but here it is, this longtime FReepers first web site. Out to prove that not all people living in Blue States are Fidel Castro loving, UN subservient, socialists.

The March, in three words: "viciously, mercilessly abusive." The amount of verbal aggression and abuse hurled at me personally, by women and men, of all ages, for carrying the I REGRET MY ABORTION sign, well, I thought that from all the nastiness and name-calling I've withstood recently on ampersand and calpundit's blogs, that I was ready for it. I wasn't. Not even close. I consider myself fairly far along on the "healing" and "public-appearances" scales. We stood, all 500 of us in the Silent No More Awareness groups, in total silence as planned, for over five hours, not replying or...

BAGHDAD — A year ago, few Iraqis had ever had access to a computer, much less used it to communicate to the outside world. Now, Internet cafes seemingly dot every block in Baghdad, and new ones open often. That has led to a new phenomenon here: bloggers. "We suffered for years under Saddam Hussein, not being able to speak out," says Omar Fadhil, 24, a dentist. "Now, you can make your voice heard around the world."

We don't get too political on our blog but check out our pictures as we build our house on a little piece of heaven outside of Snoomish Washington. (The only politics will be when we go up against the enviro-whackos who will be complaining that our house is too close to their salmon stream all the while they trespass on my land) we update every few days so check back often, and if you like it leave comments. http://wrightieads.typepad.com
