It's the perfect combination. Blonde bimbos, supposedly spouting a conservative message. At least that used to be the O'Reilly Factor (FOX News Channel) formula. I noticed it years ago, but my wife wouldn't let me write about it. Talk about being hen-pecked. And here's a question from my wife. She what's to know what's the deal with the sleeveless outfits being worn by the FOX News blondes in the middle of winter. Is it fashion sense? Or a lack of common sense? Perhaps I should get to the point because this isn't Vogue magazine, but she was just wondering. Back...

Let me preface this commentary by explaining that I do not watch either Bill O'Reilly or Glenn Beck. I don't have to. WND visitors send me so many video clippings from these shows, pointing out the good, the bad and the ugly, there's no need for me to devote two hours a day tuned to the tube. Lately, it seems, O'Reilly and Beck have been teaming up – doing each other's shows. Such was the case recently when Beck visited the set of "The O'Reilly Factor," where they exchanged ignorances on what we call "the eligibility issue." One thing this...

RodBlagojevich told Bill O'Reilly that purported Obama emissaries offered to raise a bunch of money around the country for him if he in return appointed a certain candidate that they were interested in. Appearing on FNC's O'Reilly Factor, Blagojevich admitted that the offer was made to his chief of staff at the time. While this may have the initial impression of a quite revealing and forthcoming interview with Blagojevich, such admissions were actually far and few between during the six-minute interview. Blagojevich actually spent much of the interview obstructing, stonewalling and ducking and dodging, which stood in severe contrast to...

Bill O'Reilly has called out MTV for how stupid their people are in their lack of transparency regarding their celebrity-laden Hope For Haiti Now telethon. Cable news TV's most powerful pundit—based on the being the most-watched cable news show in the US—made the comments in a segment that was part of his newly started investigation of MTV (folks behind the telethon) for lack of transparency and potential problems with the money raised actually going to Haiti for its intended purpose of helping the Haitians. To be clear, O'Reilly is not discouraging Americans from giving aid to Haiti, but, rather, is...

When your child is handed a death sentence by a doctor and the family is forced to make decisions about the future, without the help of a crystal ball, nothing is more personal or traumatic. Several years ago I received a phone call from my close friend Julie, who was in just such a position. She was heart broken, sobbing and desperate. Through tears she explained how she had just returned from a doctor’s appointment. The doctor informed her that her baby had Trisomy 13, a defect that would leave the baby so badly deformed he would not survive birth,...

Here is video of Fox News' Megyn Kelly talking with Bill O'Reilly about President Obama's attack on the Supreme Court during his State of the Union Address, and his claim that their recent ruling opens the door to "foreign companies" being able to influence political campaigns through making contributions. Kelly said flatly that the Supreme Court ruling does not allow that to happen. Laws are still in place to prevent foreign companies from contributing to U.S. political campaigns. Kelly said, "That, as spoken by President Obama, is not accurate." She also said that it is unprecedented for a U.S. President...

Here is video of Bill O'Reilly talking with the President of the "Women's Media Center," Jehmu Greene, who is urging CBS to drop a pro-life ad from the Super Bowl. (Video)Greene said the ad is "trying to take away from all American women" the "choice of reproductive health decisions." She said that, "CBS has a very specific advocacy policy that they have decided out of bias that they are going to change that policy, and we need to hold them accountable."

During George W.'s administration, liberals loved to wail over the supposed--but never demonstrated--suppression of free speech. But now we have the spectacle of a member of the Dem majority warning a leading representative of Fox News to stop celebrating his network's success--under threat of reinstitution of the so-called "Fairness Doctrine." On last evening's Factor, Rep. Dennis Kucinich, invoking the possibility of the Fairness Doctrine's return, warned O'Reilly to stop "crowing" about Fox's success. View video here.

Fox News' 8pmET "O'Reilly Factor" was the top rated cable news show last night, but it also drew more viewers than "Community" and "Parks and Recreation" the NBC broadcast sitcoms that run during the 8pm time-slot. Bill O'Reilly's show also had more total viewers than Jay Leno. Last night's 4.8 million viewer audience was O'Reilly's largest since the breaking news at Fort Hood last November. Here's a chart of last evening's Fox News primetime against the primetime programming on the broadcast networks. (More cable news info on our scoreboard.)

In this interview, Governor Palin discussed her leisure pursuits with Bill O’Reilly. Governor Palin confirmed that she hunts moose, caribou, buffalo. She skins, butchers, freezes and eats the meat, and feeds her family with the same. “We eat; therefore, we hunt,” she said. “It’s part of that ‘Alaskana’ culture. It’s a healthy, active lifestyle that we so enjoy up there.”

This one is so shocking you may have to sit down for this one. After all it talks about the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) a darling of the mainstream media. They were even on Bill O' Reilly last week to defend the civil rights of American Muslims. It would be so hard to believe that this supporter of Hamas, and un-indicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Terrorism funding case would actually do something illegal, but after being charged with criminal fraud a year ago, they got another visit from the "Bluebird of Subpoena Servers."

Sarah Palin made her debut as a contributor/analyst on Fox News Channel yesterday in an interview with Bill O'Reilly. Her analytical debut was short; it was actually in the form of an interview with Fox News Channel flagship/"bigshot" Bill O'Reilly and lasted a mere 15-or-so minutes divided into two segments. The breadth of the interview and Palin's resulting analysis were quite mundane as the usual topics of interest in current event news were covered, though the pacing of the questions on which Palin could offer analysis was pretty speedy, thanks to O'Reilly. These were in order: Palin's analysis of why...

On Fox News' #1 rated cable news program The O'Reilly Factor, host Bill O'Reilly interviewed guest journalist Brit Humes regarding his controversial remarks about Tiger Woods switching to Christianity made just the day before on Fox News Sunday... Bill O'Reilly played that tape, then immediately asked Hume "Is that proselytizing?" To which Brit replied "I don't think so ..." ... By definition, proselytizing is "To induce someone to convert to one's own religious faith. To induce someone to join one's own political party or to espouse one's doctrine." ... Perhaps it is the word "proselytizing" and the possible negative connotations...

Bill O'Reilly and Keith Olbermann are engaged in one of the most visible rivalries of the decade — a conflict that may be rooted more in their similarities than differences. Both talk show hosts are former straight news reporters who share not only a formula for talk-show success, but a mutual respect for Tom Snyder, whose 1970s talk show Tomorrow set the bar for thoughtful, entertaining talk. Olbermann and O'Reilly make our Players list for best epitomizing the transformation of news in the 2000s. While CNN ruled the '90s with an emphasis on breaking, opinion-free reports, The O'Reilly Factor helped...

BILL O'REILLY, HOST: In the "Factor Follow-up" segment tonight: A new Wall Street Journal poll says there is a big political change going on in America right now. Thirty-five percent of Americans see the Democratic Party favorably. Twenty-eight percent say they like the Republican Party. But a whopping 41 percent now say they support the Tea Party, which is stunning when you think about it. So will the Tea Party become America's third political party? Joining us from Washington, Ned Ryun, president of American Majority, an organization that trains Tea Party politicians. And here in the studio, Fox News analyst...

After listening to the condesending Bill O'Reilly towards Sarah Palin, and having my blood pressure raise about 40 points. Bill is a know-nothing globalist that continues to lie and cover-up the facts. Plain and simple. He lied about the Birth certificate and ridculed anyone that brought that up. Well here is my poster of the real Bill O'Reilly

Does Ed Schultz read my blog? I have long held MSNBC host Ed Schultz's erratic behavior stems from his political and professional status, envy at those whose careers surpass his. As David Swindle noted in the roll-out of this series, "Ben’s posts on Schultz are collected and all future articles will be collected here under the series name 'Genius Envy' a play on a well-known Freudian term." I came up with the name "Genius Envy" to highlight the way much of Ed's incendiary rhetoric seems to be rooted in his offended masculinity. I was gratified to see my thesis...

Bill O'Reilly and Laura Ingraham got into a bit of a tiff on Thursday night's "O'Reilly Factor" that resulted in him calling her a "blind ideologue" as well as a "Kool-aid drinker" after she asked him if he had eaten an "ACORN cookie" at the White House Christmas party earlier in the week. The spat began when O'Reilly jokingly asked Ingraham if she's going on a dinner date with Howard Dean now that he's bashing the Senate's version of ObamaCare. Ingraham responded: It's like you and Michelle Obama. We're like this...I'm gushing over your gushing last night about the Christmas...

Bill O'Reilly recently talked about it in positive terms, now today Time Magazine (online at least) has a story about Advent Conspiracy. The following is an excerpt from Time as featured on Yahoo where it is getting thousands of hits: As you might expect Time has done a surly hack-job on a movement designed to get Christmas back to its original intention. "McKinley is one of the leaders of an effort to do away with the frenzied activity and extravagant gift-giving of a commercial Christmas. Through a savvy viral video and marketing effort, the so-called Advent Conspiracy movement has exploded....
