Frankly, I've heard all I want to hear about Sarah Palin's private life. I don't care.
Is BO going to stab her in the back like Glenn did last week?
This looks like a taped interview, if she were in New York she would have been on live last night with Greta..I can’t stand BOR..she doesn’t need to discuss her private life with him. BOR already stabbed her in the back last week just like Glenn did. She shouldn’t do anymore interviews with either of them
yes
i don’t remember personal back story on the other commentators on FOX. why do this, unless to dig for fodder
people don’t care about her personal life right now... her political views is what people want.
self determined conservatism.
small government.
strong military.
pride in the country.
inspiration to achieve more.
a plan coupled with a can-do attitude.
Not being a Beck viewer, I missed it. What happened?
Beck had her on for an hour last week.
1. He got back from a break and was laughing because Sarah was googling the crowns in the statue of Liberty’s crowns, thinking Beck might ask her about them.
2. He asked her who her favorite founding father was. (gotcha question !). She said she didn’t have a favorite. He pressed her so she finally named George Washington and gave a good reason. (if I had been asked, I would have said my favorite “founder” was Abigail Adams as she was fighting for women’s rights even back then)
3. He made some comment the next day on his radio show as he was stroking himself on how great his interview was. He said he met Todd Palin, who obviously loves the outdoors. If there was ONE good reason for Sarah not to run - it was TODD. How could anyone take someone like Todd Palin and uproot him to DC. (I personally think that should be the Palins’ decision, not Glenn Beck’s)
Then the next day he and Bill O were discussing how great their interviews of Sarah were. Glenn blasts her for being so guarded that “can you believe it, she was googling the gems in the statues crown, thinking I might ask her about them.” yuck, yuck, yuck.
Then the two of them blasted her “deer-in the-headlights” answer to Glenn’s brilliant quistion “who is your favorite founding father”. Ha, ha, ha, ha.
I found it disgusting.
Sounds like Palin was humorously playing up the gotcha-question aspect!
This is why I’ve been guarded about Glenn Beck from the beginning. Beck is all about Beck. I don’t think he’s really all about conservalibertarianism or whatever his stance can be called.
Absolutely! I listen to him, but rarely catch his TV show, and I take him with a grain of salt. A lot of the stuff he considers funny I find to be silly. I really don't listen to a conservative talk show for humor. I want to hear what's going on, and what needs the attention of conservatives around the country who are determined to take back America.
Fortunately I am in a major radio marke,t and I have my choice of several conservative talk shows that are on at the same time he is. If he steps over the line, IMHO, I just move on to the next host.
I wasn't particularly pleased with his Sarah Palin interview. He seemed to be paying very little attention to her and what she was saying, just getting ready to ask his next question. And I really could have done without the opinions of him and BOR.
I figure his 15 minutes will be over soon enough. Meantime I'll just stick with my take it or leave it approach to him and his shows.
