A Brooklyn couple who pre-boarded JetBlue Flight 1052 on Monday said flight attendant Steven Slater's forehead was bleeding before all but one other passenger was allowed on the plane. Their account is the most recent to cast doubt on the flight attendant's version of the events that led to his now-famous exit via the plane's emergency chute. Marta and Rudyard Crichlow, who were returning from visiting family in Pittsburgh, were allowed on the flight early because they were traveling with their 20-month-old daughter, Grace. Ms. Crichlow said the plane was "empty' save one other passenger, a curly-haired man wearing eyeglasses....

LOS ANGELES — Once Richard Heene admitted in court that he wrongly sent authorities on a wild goose chase across Colorado to save the son he thought was aloft in a runaway balloon, friends and supporters seemed to take off just about as fast as that balloon. All except for one: Steven C. Barber, a 48-year-old filmmaker who says he still believes Heene really thought his son was in the balloon as it spun wildly through the skies on Oct. 15. He plans to prove it, Barber says, when he releases the documentary "Balloon Boy: Guilty Until Proven Innocent" later...

Does stories like this realize what the late Andy Warhol said years ago, that everyday people will have their "15 minutes" of fame? Uh Oh … well can’t say I am surprised. The evidence we pointed out here seemed pretty overwhelming. But if it was a hoax, I can asssure you … this guy won’t go down without a fight. I promise.
